It is a waste of our time and money to have marijuana illegal. It should be legalized and we could get rid of the crime that goes along with having it illegal. Good medical help for cancer patients and many others.

Sure, thats all we need. A lot of stoners walking ( and driving ) around York. Marijuana is a hallucinogen. People get HIGH. As if we don't have enough of that now when it is illegal.

No one is advocating for getting high and driving; just getting high.

Do you have a problem with a person having some wine or beer at their home after a hard day of work?

I have more problems with sober people than I do high people! High people usually aren't looking for trouble. At least not intentionally.

No responsible person drives while intoxicated. Your statement implies that making it illegal stops idiots from driving while under its influence. Those idiots will drive drunk , on prescription drugs etc. That has nothing to do with weather it is illegal of not. I am the father of 4 and have been happily married for years as well as own a successful business and i enjoy a little weed from time to time.I do not drive while on it nor do I walk around town that way. In fact the buzz one gets from pot last alot less then that of beer or whiskey so a person would be able to drive home after a few hours at a party given time to let the buzz where off. People who drink heavy often kill people on their way to work the next morning because they are still drunk!!! This is a fact not an opinion.Pot does not make idiots they are raised or born that way! Which is it for you?

What we need is for the money from the sale of weed to go to tax paying businesses and not to blood thirsty cartels. This is the same thing as the prohibition of alcohol. When you take the common sense out of regulation you end up funding criminals and you make it easy for teens to get....the fact is the way it stands its easier for a teenager to get Pot then beer what sense does that make?

You have obviously confused weed with PCP or something I have smoked pot for years on a very casual schedule and have never seen something appear from nowhere!!! It just mellows you out, it helps with depression, it helps with sleeping disorders and is far safer then most addictive things your doctor passes out with little regard. Ask any cop who they would rather deal with a guy who smoked some pot or a guy that is drunk you will be surprised by the answer.

The Chinese Opium Dens dragged their culture down for hundreds of years until Mao made the death penalty mandatory for using or selling drugs. In 2 years there was no drug problem in China, they now export it to Western Society.

I grew pot for 22 years in York, can't see it from the corn being so high. I believe smoking pot kept me away from the doctors and my parent were both in their late 90s and smoked pot until the day they died, that's the way I hope to go.

i love how you people say, stoners and stupid people, that is such a stereotypical statement. I am a very successful business man and i think it should be legalized, I've been smoking all my life. It would sure as hell make the rest of everyone more laid back, thats what most people need. you dumbasses should try it. Thats why you are saying the shit you do because you have never enjoyed it. I am 100% for it!!!! Leagalized it!!!!And marajuana is not a hallucinogen, mushrooms and ecstacy are, not Marajuana.

If they would legalize it, it would help our stupid economy with our tax issues. Look at California, they tax it and they get a huge sum of money from the proceedS, which would help PA out alot!!! Especially with Rendel raising the taxes on everything he can. Why not legalize pot and it would help us out. More tax money is wasted taking people off the streets because of stupid little marajuana charges, those officers should be worried about the guns and crack on the street, not pot. LEAGALIZE IT!!!!

If anybody thinks that making this legal will increase the amount of usage they are crazy. Millions are already using it and the Government wastes our money chasing them down.We would spend less and earn more through taxes. It's a win-win.

Are you saying we should be more like the Communist Chinese? That says it all doesn't it?
