It's a waste of money chasing down and locking up people for so victimless a crime

Gallup has been polling on the subject of Marijuana legalization since 1970. Fast-foward to 2013 to the latest Gallup poll. This poll shows a record 58% in favor of legalization for (get this) "Recreational" use. This poll, also, shows major shifts in all demographic and age groups.

Sounds like the tide is shifting.

Why are you morons wanting it to be taxed? I think the government is already wasting enough of our money. Why would you offer them more? You would offer them money to legalize something that already should be legal? The state taxes in Colorado are already being set so high( and they only ever go up, not down) that when the federal taxes set in(and they will) it will be so expensive that the business will go right back to the street dealers.

It's not as addictive or dangerous as alcohol, but our law enforcement waste tax payer dollars enforcing out dated and politically motivated laws.
