allow people to grow their own, like people can brew their own beers and make their own wines and if people want better strains go to an ABC store where it will be taxed.

When you SEE what a great benefit it can make to many sick people first hand, then there is NO WAY you can oppose it. The ones who oppose have got to open their eyes!!

Most rational, unbiased studies have demonstrated medicinal benefit and recreational safety of marijuana. There is no logical reason for it to be illegal, except misguided, outdated politics.

As a former user, I can tell you the last thing you want is a generation that has to deal with the mental health issues that are suffered later in life from using it. There is nothing positive about it, other than the clothing/material usage of it. Quit being so naive.

There is little difference between marijuana and alcohol. Also the tax subsides would benefit the government

pot is bad for the brain and the lungs, only an uninformed idiot would legalize it. we don't wnt to end up like california, a day late and a dollar short, with tons of crime. smoking anything is unhealthy. stoners are forgetful, undependable, often paranoid. pot causes harm to the eyes and brain, constantly dilating capilaries and any radiologist or nuerologist can point out the things wrong with it. if you legalize pot, you also have to legalize hash and all the varieties, and derivatives, some way more potent to the garden varieties, or homegrown crap your stoners dumbass friends use. don't legalize the reefer!

Sounds as if you swallowed some propaganda hook, line and sinker.
As for crime, governments create crime. They create Black Markets.
If it was legal it could be controlled as well as alcohol is.
Prohibition only taught us that Prohibition does NOT work.

That's what Nixon wanted to see when he formed the Shafer Commission, but they ended up recommending to decimalize cannabis since they didn't see it as a harmful substance. So instead he threw it away and didn't listen to the committee he hired.
