Nothing good come from its use and it leads to things much worse. Enough kids having messed up parents as is. No need to add more to the lot by making this crap legal.

the legalization of it would just make it ok in a legal sense to do what many already do against the law and its healthier than drinking for cryn out loud.

I think it should be legal but controlled. By meaning, a person could not use it at work, sell it any where or by any one. Sold like alchol so everyone could get there share of taxes for it.

Its DOPE, stupid. It has no use whatsoever except to screw your brain. Medicical MJ is BS and is supported by ignorant people who only want to legally use it.

There is no valid reason for it to be illegal. It is a plant. It has never caused a single death and has many uses including medical and industrial. Hemlock is a plant, grows everywhere and is very poisonous. Should we make that illegal, too? How silly.Alcohol and tobacco have very limited uses, have caused great harm and they are legal. Again, the big boys have their greedy way.

Sounds like you are the ignorant one. You sound like a TV commercial and probably drink beer to boot. Have you researched it's actual uses or are you just parroting what you have heard? And it was in around 1/3 of all medicines before it was made illegal. People who want to keep it illegal are racists. Oh, you didn't know the reason they made it illegal was so they could have a good excuse to slap the blacks and mexicans in jail? Did you know that the congressmen who voted to make it illegal didn't know that this "marijuana" they were told was so horrible (horrible enough to make "black men look at a white woman twice or step on a white man's shadow" to quote from a newspaper of the day....how dare they!)was in fact the hemp that everyone used for just about everything? Marijuana was a slang term from Mexico and they didn't know it was the same plant (and deliberately were not told). And I don't believe there has ever been a case of wife beating or child abuse from someone who smoked a joint but I KNOW there have been PLENTY from booze. But you go ahead and keep your little ignorant belief system, that's what they want you to do, god forbid you learn to think for yourself.

Pot screws with cognitive abilities therefor it messes with the brain. One can drink without messing with the brain. One can smoke tobacco with out messing with the cognitive abilities. One can not smoke weed without messing with cognitive abilities. We don't need to tax the stuff and then allow people to go around impaired on a regular basis. Besides people would still buy the crap back alley and not pay taxes anyway while still getting stoned. Stop giving a so called good reason for wanting to smoke pot without being bothered by the law. Try enjoying life without substance for once. Maybe enjoy your kids, a good ballgame or even a comedy on TV. Your cognitive ability stays in tact and everyone wins.

You guys are really nuts!!! The only reason it is illegal was to save the forest industry in the the 1930's. And it does have medical benefits, i know this from 2 people that are not alive now but used it to ease their pain in the final months, so you guys that says medical reasons are BS, kiss my ass.
As far as kids go, i'm sure they will make it illegal for under 18 but it don't matter cause they will simply go get their parents prescription drugs from the medicine cabinet or alchol from the liquor cabinet, bottom line is if kids wanna buzz they are gonna get a buzz if they have to sniff their parents gas tank.

It looks and sounds like you really believe in your own dillusions and stupidity dont you? Your psychobabble does not impress anyone. I suggest you take a few more "hits" and when you come out of your stupor, read post #5 again, and oh by the way, take a bath with soap and water for a change.

Boo Hoo if it has legal benefits then I am quite sure that the medical community can come up with a pill form of the crap and regualte it uses. In California it is suppose to have a perscription but haha it usually doesn't.

so so so, You are right on all your posts here. We must OPPOSE any initiative to even attempt to legalize DOPE in this country.

The question opens up an untold amount of issues that would surround the issue from Cultural, Financial, Employment,Law Enforcement, Education, Government, Medical, and the list goes on. Its just too much to fathom.

This issue is similar to the HOAX of Global Warming, with all the lies and hoop-la, and bogus science that revealed that it was a political move to instill communism and control of entire countries to bend to the will of an evil movement to restrict the progress of industry, energy, loss of individual and collective liberties and freedoms, and cost a lot of nations billions of dollars to boonswaggle the world....This issue of legalizing a known drug that alters the brain, inhibits rationalizing, and controls the thinking processes is just too much to allow and would also cost humdreds of millions in losses, if not billions to control and manage.

How about we stop attacking weed and start attacking alcohol a little more. Lets look at how many violent crimes are commited by pot heads... well that would take about 2 seconds to research since the number is so low, but look at how many people get in fights when they're drunk. Marijuana is legal in other states for a reason. Medicinal uses for it are constantly growing and I personally know a person that has leukemia and smokes it because with the chemotherapy it's hard for her to eat, but weed gives her an appitite. Not everyone smokes it just for fun and if it was legalized medically everywhere in the U.S. then maybe more people could see the healing effect it actually has on people.
