Obama, well this is a guy that appear to have no problems sending drones into densely populated areas and have countless innocents die in order to get one "bad guy" (as defined by whoever). This is the same guy who spends more time in the limelight over 27 schoolchildren killed (no matter HOW tragic it is) than over trying to solve the future fiscal abyss looming. A gigantic hypocrite, IMHO. This is the same person that never once has had a huge "action plan" for all the gun shootings in his own hometown, more kids shot over longer time. Finally, this is the same guy who now has authorized the KILLING of US citizens on US GROUND WITHOUT trial if he is deemed "terrorist".

You liberals who voted for Obama, thinking he is cool and will let you smoke pot (and some medical too, I am sure, on medicaid) are FOOLS!! All he has to do to have you vote for him is to talk about "smoking up" and throw in a few empty cool slogans and you guys are faster sold than a salmon up the waterfalls spawning that bites the fly-fisher's bait annoyingly.

Most of you liberals of today are mere authoritarians and no liberal at sall.

Republicans have their RINOS, but liberals for sure have plenty of LINO's sitting in their Limo's.

I read a few of the above comments. Allow me to respond. Marijuana IS a crime (read ur state statutes) and if you don't like it just move to a state or country where it is legal and stop whining. If you are at the brink of ending your life and now the only thing keeping you from doing it is a joint,,,, same advice, just move to another country. To say marijuana has never killed anyone is nonsense. Just poll any homicide detectives in any major size city and ask them how many murders they investigate over some tiny bag of pot or a tiny weed debt. Try asking the surviving family members of the victim of a fatal traffic crash where some stoned driver killed someone because they were IMPAIRED by marijuana if pot should be legal. Potheads are criminals,,, to possess it is a crime,,, to grow it is a felony,,, to sell it is a felony,,, do the math. To say it is just a plant is ignorant. A tomato is a plant so I put ketchup on my kids burger. Marijuana is a mind altering drug containing THC. If you wouldn't give this "plant" to a baby to ingest then it contains something that needs to be regulated,,, and it is,,, by the law. Cocaine and heroine also come from plants,, so what's your point!? The war on drugs is not a failure. If drunk drivers begin to "win" the war on drunk driving by killing a record number of people,,,, should we legalize drunk driving??? Or step up enforcement??

So if the coward cops go after granny with a dime bag and she gets shot, that's the fault of pot??

You gun grabbers and authoritarians are all the same. You belong as guards in Guantanamo or a super-maxx where you can abuse and deprive people's right all you want. Otherwise, stay out of MY place. I don't need an assault rifle to take care of trespassing creep!

A) If you give your kid beer or pot, what do you think will give him most problems?

B) As in A, if you are serious, I want you to agitate for a ban on ETOH, which is clearly more damaging both when you are driving and otherwise.

C) Marijuana is "mind altering"? and ETOH is....?

D) Cocaine and OPIUM have been used medicinally or longer than the DEA has been around. They both has THOUSANDS of years history of use by healers.

E) The problem with drunk driving is NOT pot, but ETOH. Since you live in WI, I am sure you know that.

F) Terminal patients REALLY benefit from cannabis and so does people with MS, glaucoma, arthritis, anxiety and neuropathy, but you would prefer that they take nasty drugs with multiple KNOWN and DOCUMENTED adverse effects. Tens of thousands of people are killed every year due to (legal) drug overdoses.

G) Don't worry, I already took your advice and moved to another state. Not so much because of pot, but having tens of thousands of bucks in my pocket every year that doesn't go to local WI politicians is good enough reason.

H) Let me see some "homicide detectives" come out with some data here. Also, if they get murdered over debt, what does that have to do with pot? People get killed every year for breaking into people's houses or stealing cars. Are you gonna ban houses and cars also??

You're a totalitarian globalist tool. Now, go back and flip between Fox, CNN, ABC and MSNBC and don't forget the Packers games and Dancing with the stars as well. Trust the police, because they know EVERYTHING about both botany, psychiatry, medicine and especially causer&effect.

To stop crime, to let people chill, and to bring back social relaxed conversations and friendship ( which is exactly NOT what the the establishments want) Let's take our freedom! Alcohol kills and natural plants HEAL mentally, physically, and emotionally!

Government doesn't need to be telling people they cannot do this. All victimless "crimes" need to be made legal, if you're not hurting anybody there shouldn't be a problem. As for harming yourself, that's a basic human right as well. It is definitely not recommended for a healthy lifestyle, but that's not for the law to determine.
who do you know that was killed from Marijuana? NO ONE. it is a wonderful thing that is rediculously illegal. what kind of country are we when the VAST majority favors legalization and it remains illegal
A country that is heavily controlled and is not really run by the general population. The common assertion that we live as "free" individuals is a myth. Americans lived truly free between 1776 and the late 1800's, before the congress sold us out by making our federal government into a legal for-profit corporation and moving it from Pennsylvania to DC. What most people don't know about our history could probably fill an entire library.
Hit up youtube and check out "The Secret of Oz" and "The Money Masters" to help gain some perspective on this.
