Not from smoking it but from the fact that Prohibition of any kind has been a dismal failure and promotes criminal behavior.

Probation for a joint in a home? Ihave heard of this insane type of crazy thinking, however the probation dept. and the courtds get rich over this crap. Thats how wausau supports itself, going after pot smokers n ther homes..Charlie jones just busted down my neighbors door for what? A pipe w/ nothng in it? Wasts of tax payers money..
Where are the real criminals they r sapose to be getting? They much rather pick on weeed smokers, as they are easy targets ...Get a life wausau, and this probation dept.is a joke, fill your pockets w/ more of our money for that pretty dress for the x-mas party..

Why is alcohal legal? Look at all the people hurt or killed by drinkers. I would rather deal with a stoned person than a drunk person

Marijuana causes a lot less damage in lives and homes than alcohol. Marijuana also has many useful medicinal purposes. America needs to get its head out of the sand and legalize marijuana.

It has been outlawed too long. The Drug War is a failure. The ONLY think its' prohibition has done is create crime, illegal immigration, senseless deaths, overpopulated our prisons & added to our nation's deficit. If it were legal, it could be controlled & taxed, which would help the deficit. It would give our police force more time to work on other crimes which are more important. It would reduce the caseloads in our courts therefore giving them more time to work on more important cases. Portugal is a perfect example of how it can benifit our country, actually reduce it's use. It's time for our government to wake up & see what is REALLY going on...more wastefull spending....

I would rather have people smoking pot than doing meth or heroine! Nothing is good for you these days so why not have the goverment regulate it and tax it to make money. It is a herb, you can buy all types of herbs in stores. It's not so different than alcohol and it make you relax. I would discourage my kids from doing it, just like I discourage my kids from smoking cigs. I don't think people smoking pot should be driving, working, doing it in front of their kids, or anything else important. But it's alot less harmful than all the other drugs people are cooking up these days! Just my opinion but the government doesn't care about our opinions, they just do what they want.

too much money is being spent to enforce the criminalization of it, not as bad as people think (milder than alcohol in my opinion)

It's wrong that it is illegal. Potheads treated as criminals in the eyes of the public, this needs to change.

simply because it is a hell of a lot less harmful than booze, scrips, even tylonol, it has saved my sanity and life more than once. when i was at my lowest and ready to die, a friend with weed brought me out of the darkness.
