Even more reason to check the laws that govern us.

It has been shown to prohibit the growth of several types of tumors. That might be why the Federal government holds at least two patents on the use of the plant. At the same time, they keep it a Schedule 1 drug, not allowing medical research.???

Where did you get the idea that pot causes brain cancer?

Quite rude for someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. You need to do a little research, don't believe everything they told you in grade school.

i personally think that smoking weed all the time is dumb..plain and simple..it kills lots of brain cells and no one likes a burnout. But i do however feel that adults can and should be able to make their own decision on this subject.

I agree, just as drinking alcohol all the time is dumb, plain and simple. No one likes a drunk. However, alcohol does kill brain cells, where as marijuana does not. I also agree, adults should be able to make their own decision on the subject, which is not possible without becoming a criminal. So we are pushing people towards harder drugs through our laws.

Marijuana has proven to be less toxic and addictive than alcohol, as long-term marijuana use is far less damaging and lethal than long-term alcohol consumption. The consumption of alcohol leads to aggressive behavior and violence, whereas marijuana reduces the likelihood of both.

Let’s look at some other aspects of the tremendous power wielded by the DEA and its henchmen. One would expect that, especially now, after a very recent tragedy in Arizona where several people were killed and wounded by a mentally unstable individual, we start finally talking about violence reducing properties of marijuana, something that is clearly articulated in the prestigious “Substance Abuse: A Comprehensive Textbook”, so that more liberal marijuana use policies in our society can actually contribute to an overall decrease in violence and anger, sometimes spilling into tragedies that we just witnessed. Given that the prestigious Textbook, published by none other than the American Association of Addiction Psychiatry, states that “marijuana use decreases violent behavior” and that “only the unsophisticated think otherwise”, isn’t it highly surprising that more Doctors do not get up and at least quote this scientific knowledge? Not so fast! The doctors and medical establishments are completely and totally under the DEA control, with every doctor needing a special DEA “number” to even practice medicine, while any dispute with the DEA puts a quick and “efficient” end to such a person’s career. It is only now that some voices are beginning to be heard that the mindless anti-marijuana policies actually make this country’s alcohol, hard drug, and prescription drug abuse much worse, because most people know that “marijuana stays in your system”, and can be detected by a “drug screen” for a long time, while alcohol, cocaine, opiates and methamphetamines “clear” from the system rapidly and are much less likely to be detected, especially after a “weekend” use. Never mind that those substances are incomparably more harmful than Cannabis and can lead to serious addictions. It is the anti-Cannabis “dogma” that is important to the DEA, not the people’s well-being!

Hilary Clinton, talking about the Mexican drug violence, says we can't "legalize drugs" because there is to much money in it. Can anyone rationalize this?

HOw does one analyse what Clinton said? She is covering up those who control the drug cartels.

Does not take a rocket scientist to see that is marywana was decriminalised, people would not have to be exploited by the drug cartels and thugs that work for them.

So if Clinton says there is too much money in this she is right there. The few will not let it happen, they control congress and the rest of government, that is easy to understand really.

And even if she was a good person, she cannot do anything about it right now. She would end like JFK. So you see why 1963 was an important year for this NWO thug regime???????
They kidnapped the President seats back in 1963. So do not be too hard on OBAMA or BUSH or ……….. they have become puppets. The last true president america had was JFK.
Since nothing more than puppets. The inner soul speaks to you all, there is no respect for the president no more why? because people know inside what is going on. On the outside they may seem stupid ignorant sheep but they know what is going on but prefer no seing it prefering to keep the head in the sand. It is more securing not seing the evil that is corrupting more and more souls of this planet.

I guess the good news lies with those who will have the courage to walk in the light and energies of GOD the creator of LOve and goodness.

Can we afford to continue this prohibition?
Doesn't prohibition create crime?
Doesn't crime create SWAT TEAMS?
