i don't believe in the legalization of marijuana because it has been illegal for so long, and those who want it legalizied are those who are addicted to it and will, find a way to get it through their doctor.

Cannabis is not addictive. A person my enjoy using cannabis to relax or meditate or enjoy playing music or preforming music, but they will not become physically addicted to it as it lacks the chemical properties of an addictive compound.

It is not an opiate or amphetamine narcotic. Therein lies the difference, and it is a difference which places narcotics at a polar position which is in opposition to cannabis.

Cannabis use as medicine is but one issue. Other aspects of Hemp production and manufacture can help the ecology of our planet:

As well, it offers solutions to land erosion, pulp for industry, cloth for fabrics, seed for food, and as a fuel. I believe we are just at the threshold as a modern society of discovering the potential of this wonderful plant
