The government could potentially made a large profit with this situation if they approached it properly...

It does not stop pain? Have you tried it? Must have if you know that. I'm sure you are against all smoking. Why does some medical facilities allow smoking for some patients? It is better to smoke than go through the pain of the illness w/o out the help. Been there and done that. No not Pot! Regular cigs. Have not smoked for 16 years. If I was told that I was going to die in a month or two, I would have a pack real quick. I enjoyed smoking just like others that have quit.

I have MS. The drugs I take to try to extend my life have very bad side effects. Some days eating is the last thing I want to do. The nausia is terable. I served in the Army for six years. I never have been arested or have even had a speeding ticket. I have always followed the law and respected it. I have used pot before to help stop the muscle spasms and the sickness. I would use it more often if I had a safe way to procure it. I look forward to the day I can buy my drug of choice legaly.

Costs to much to control, and can generate revenue for states and create jobs as well

If you want to grow it and smoke it and you are an adult and use it in a responsible manner, so be it. Don't sell it, or supply it to minors or you should be jailed for an extended period of time. But a bit of information to all you marijuna advocates, did you know that the fine and jail time for making my own whiskey for personal use is greater than the punishment for growing marijuna for personnal use. You support my right to make whiskey and I will support right to smoke doobie.
