pharmacutical drugs do more harm to people than the weed. it's all about the money to the major drug companies.

I feel that there are more important things for the American people as a whole to unite against. Why not stop base jumpers or black diamond skiiers. they are both very dangerous, with no positive outcome, aside from a fun time. Why do they not make tobacco illegal? second hand smoke from a cigarette has far more adverse effects on a person than marijuana- which is not proven to have a single health risk.

It really has no negative impact on other industry. Also I feel recreational pot company's should be allowed to form so we can see the same kind of marketing the alcohol industry, humorous commercials, the works.

Liquor is far more deadly but taxable. Legalize it, tax it. Put the dealers out of business and reduce the prison population. The govenment has no business telling us what to do in the privacy of our homes as long as we aren't hurting anyone else but ourselves.

I'm guessing that everyone who supports it, smokes right? Very few people support legalization of marijuana unless their using.

NO WAY. 1 million peddlers and 2 million cops chasing after them will go jobless. Double dip recession

Least harmful weed. Control quality, and get the problem out of the streets into safely monitored outlets.

NOT TRUE!! not all supporters are smokers. i believe pot has the potential to be very helpful when it comes to cancer patients, depression, and other medically necessary reasons. if it is controlled and taxed by the U.S. it would help bring us out of debt by saving states money instead of loosing it to the Mexican drug cartel! The ATF, ITF, and DEA could focus more on the meth production along with the heroin and cocaine importation that is slowly causing our children to become addicts. However - pot will never be legalized because it would seriously impact the drug manufacturing companies and they are the ones who pay for the laws to be made NOT you. Here's a question for you - you've been slowly loosing you ability to digest and hold down food properly and your doctor sends you out for tests. your tests say you are positive for stomach cancer and have about 6 mths to live from your lack of proper nutrition. your doctor suggests pot to relax your stomach muscles, increase your appetite, and help you hold down and absorb nutrients to survive. by using pot to help with the symptoms of your cancer you could extend your life by 3-5 yrs or longer. would you use pot?

Cannabis Sativa is a healing herb. It was used by Christ (land of canaan). All the lies were perpetrated by greedy corporations in the 40's and 50's. because it IS a threat to them. Colonists were forced to grow it because of its usefullness.
