Marijuana is a natural growing plant and is far less harmful than alcohol.

I've seen far more lives lost due to alcohol and crack. Never saw anybody die because of pot. It is a pain reliever and a stress reliever and grows naturally. I'd rather be hooked on pot than Oxycontin.

Marijuana is NOT a Drug, you plant it. and then use it when it grown, no chemicals or poisons added like cigs or tobacco. and NOT ONE death has been caused or linked to Marijuana in History, I dare you to show me different, more people are killed every minute by Tobacco and Alcohol, than any thing else in this world, and my teenage daughter can get her hands on that and if she gets caught the penalty is worse at home than police, Legalize it, tax it, get this country out of debt in a year. have harsh penalties for people bringing it across our borders, we have some of the richest soil in the world, Eastern US is great, you know where Tobacco Grows!!!

Fine, legalize it..Charge higher and higher taxes for the crap, and make it where no one can smoke the crap outside of their own house, like they are doing cigarettes.

Just because it does NOT affect you, does not mean it does not affect another. Maraijuana, if not a "Drug" sure has a lot of people addicted to it, got have it,..hey, it chills you out, a stress reliever, I mean, OMG..poor people today can't handle it all.

But go ahead, legalize the crap..and see how many kids get "High" and people that don't smoke it, get sick.. because while it may not affect you, Marijuana has different effects on everyone.

I can not be around it, the smoke alone makes me light-headed, my brother has no side effects, and another person just gets higher then a kite, laughing their butt off and getting hungry..

I am NOT againsit the usage for LEGITIMATE use for medical reasons. I realize it has it's benefits, and should be used for it. But not just because a pothead can't handle the papercut.

Sorry folks, but marijuana is ,as tobacco, grown and cultivated the same as tobacco. It was, in the past ,another cash crop, used and grown to make rope, hemp, til it was found to be ,like tobacco, smoked. It does more than just relax a person, and it will allow a person to slip into accidents.Medical hemp is like any other drug,it slips out of control.Check California, where they try to allow medical marijuana and find out pop-heads line up.

And,yes, spend days raising cattle, nights on the computor to keep records, just on topix to relax and read what is going on with the unlearned masses.Marx said it"the masses are asses".

it helps people that are in pain it should be legalized. Just put it on the shelf and put tax on it people gonna grow it and smoke it regardless government might as well make it legal and get their cut.

Okay then, legalize it for people with cancer ONLY. AND let it be given to them in a clinic or doctors office or similar place. Don't let them go home with it, where their drug addicted family members can steal it from them, like they do their pain pills.

I think that is a fair solution.

The more I think about it, the crazier it sounds. Can you imagine what it would be like if it was sold on the shelf? Everywhere you go, people would be stoned. Stoned teenage drivers, stoned bimbos working at fast food restaurants, stoned teachers, stoned CPAs, I can think of many more. Can you imagine what it would be like? I was stoned a couple of times as a teenager, I know what it's like. It should not be legalized except for people in extreme pain, and then it should be administered in a doctor's office setting.

Marijauna is not addictive !
I smoked it for many years and quit just as quickly as I started, no side effects or DT's like you get when you are quitting drinking.
Im not a pothead either, but heck yes legallize it and tax it like cigarettes are !
