sloppy drunks are much more dangerous than a stoner. also, i'm sick and tired of marijuana import/export being big business for some corporate or government gain

God made it, so it can't be all bad. when was the last time you heard of someone being killed by a stoner?? drunk drivers, all day long...stoners, i think not. import/export is big business, though, for corporate and government gain. it'll never happen.

Legalization of marijuana would create taxation, money for the government which is desperately needed. Not to mention that keeping it illegal isn't going to accomplish much.

i have smoked for years, and will always, i wish that i didnt have to worry, its not that bad, and the only way its a gateway drug, is cause after kids try it and figure out that its not near as bad as they have been told, then they think well maybe these harder drugs aren't that bad either, see what im saying? LEGALIZE!

It can be taxed and used to help people its a win- win situation. A plant instead of a pill hmmm sounds like progress to me.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

The herb was here far before we were, who are we to say that it is illegal?

Too much money is going into the hands of the bad guys, not into state and local cofers where it can do some good. It is just pot, not crack. If we could grow our own or tax the sale of it the local, state and feds could make some money instead of just individuals such as the criminal, attorney, and individauls working for the judicial system. We could take the tax money in addition to the money spent to arrest, prosecute and contain pot smokers and put it into schools, parks, healthcare, the possibilities are endless. While I'm at it, states and local govt should make the decision on how to handle this, not fed. govt.

No reason it should be a schedule 1, less harmful than alcohol, waste of time and resources when state could make huge tax profits from regulation and taxation.
