Prohibition DOES NOT WORK! Leagalization would mean additional revenue, easing the taxpayer's burdon,+ would free up jail spacee for real criminals.

any drug that has psycho-active properties needs to be regulated and only administered within the scope of a competent medical doctor. Marijuana included. Anything less would be self-medicating and potentially hazardous. In addition, the properties of a marijuana 'high' affect short, medium and some long term abilities of higher mentation - mathematical and technical. It causes a loss of motivation and general willingness to persevere with difficult problems. Many other negative aspects as well. It should be never legalized.

if you legalize it, it can be taxed, and the tax revenue could fund the effort to get rid of METH and COCAINE!!! our prisons are full of pot smokers, instead of politicians like they should be.

The medical and fiscal benefits of marijuana need to be acknowledged and put ahead of old prejudices.

It is just another mind altering drug that people use just to get rid of their problems.. If this becomes legalized then people will be trying to get cocaine and heronine legalized

A way to relax and have fun after a long days work. Please legalize! I feel legalization would lend a hand in times of hardship and stress.

don't smoke it, but I have in the past, and I believe its any worse than alchohol. plus, it would bring down the criminal aspect of it, and alow better monitoring of drug abuse, and thus treatment for those who really need and / or want it.

I think it would be a big mistake for our children. We all know how easy it is for them to get tobacco. It is also a gateway drug.

A natural plant with healing qualities that brings very little harm. To criminalize people for using it is close minded. Law Makers must be ignorant of all the positive qualities the plant possesses.
