Ain't Thomas just the jewel? He assumes....assumes he knows...he is so sure that consuming a harmless flower turns people into mass murderers and will destroy the earth. Yet it has been going on for thousands of years and the earth still turns.
I have posted that I have enjoyed pot for over 30 years, enjoyed great employment, never failed a drug test....never been to jail. I am 55 years old, great health, pay my taxes, own my home completely,....and he basically calls me a liar. He is a perfect example of the typical liberty hater. Has a stick up his backside that got plunged in during several views of Reefer Madness.
Thomas, you want a worthy cause, go after legal prescription drugs that every mass murderer uses...the ones the mental health doctors prescribe. Now there is a worthy cause.
Legal or not, we will continue to grow it and use it. Nothing you can say or do will change that. But it does provide some amusement watching you display ignorance in an age where it is a choice to be so void of science and facts. Don't do any research, and certainly keep trying to tell other people how they should live. It is entertaining.

Bragging about being stoned for 30 years reminds one of the character of Otis the Mayberry town drunk that maintained his positition (?) in town for many years

Didn't the fact that Otis have the LIBERTY to be drunk as long as he did no harm to others the point? Accept Otis was a fictional character. I am real, and I have been successful because cannabis is not alcohol, the effects are not anywhere near the same. Its a flower that is harmless. Thomas would know that if he didn't spend his life following limited belief systems and actually explored and experienced life fully. But you have that liberty, liberty you wish to take away from others. You can't control others to fit them into your little idea of how things should be. Controlling others...how has that worked for you?

It's not controlling anyone. It's setting down the rules that people have to be able to follow if they want to work in a particular job. Because of workman's comp rules ,companies have the right to establish zero tolerance rules for anyone on the premises whether you smoked last week or last night. It doesn't matter. You have to be clean to be hired in,and you agree to surprise random testing during the course of your employment. Get caught and get fired. Very simple. Outside of that you can do as you please.

ThomasA,
Yes, always follow the rules...you can have that put on your headstone...I always followed the rules. I follow the rules, but on my own time, I do as I please without infringing on others rights. The science says cannabis does not affect a person after just a few hours. It may be in the system, but the stoned affects are not present in a person. Yet the rules say it is ok to go get blasted on alcohol, which does affect the brain for days sometimes. Anti-depressants affect people in some of the most negative ways, yet "the rules" say I have to drive and work with and around these drunks and prescription zombies everyday. Just because it is a rule, does not make it right.
BTW I don't get "stoned". I vaporize a small amount on the weekends in my own home. Big difference. But you wouldn't know the difference since you are inexperienced and therefore void of offering any relevant comments. Please go away and have that headstone made.

Yeah, I am sure you are right. And I will go to jail or prison for a victimless crime. But the people working for HSC and other international bankster cartels will go on victimizing people around the world while they continue to launder illegal drug cartel money which only encourages the drug cartels to continue doing business. These banks provide a way for drug cartels to launder the drug money, making billions while hundreds of thousands of people die in Mexico over the drug trade. But I will go to jail, and you get to pay the taxes to keep me there. Yes, justice for the few, billions for the already wealthy. Don't legalize, continue with a failed drug war...for another 60 or 70 years...or forever so that those making the illegal laundered drug money get richer. You are brilliant.

tell that to Rosa Parks and Susan Anthony, who must have had the "high school mentality". You are so full of yourself. You fail at justifying your prohibitionist lifestyle and are just another one of the sheep.....

<quoted text>Justifing your lifestyle and lawbreaking by saying "everybody's doing it" is so adolescent and a sign of a high school mentality. There are things going on all around you every day but it doesn't mean you can jump on the bandwagon and be a part of it unless you want to fall with it too.
Never said I enjoy an enhanced life by using cannabis because everyone is doing it. Are you a bot? Re-read. My life is uplifted and enhanced in a way you cannot understand. BTW, two great men said that laws that are unjust need to be broken. Laws against consuming things that come from the natural world is one of those things that man decided to make a law against because it took a slice out of their paper products, tobacco products, etc. You can't patent nature, so make it illegal. Myself along with 51% of the US will not back down to cannabis laws that are unjust. BTW, I do not drive uplifted, I do not go to work that way either.
