We have enough problems with alcohal in this country...why add another mind bending substance? Plus...we are paying thru the nose for current smokers, by making pot legal would just add that much more lung, throat, mouth, cancer, that we would have to pay for...then they would sue the pot growers because they got sick. A never ending problem! No, no, no - I oppose making it legal.

No different than alcohol. Tax it, and create jobs also.

@BB....mind bending? Marijuana does not even attached itself to the brain stem...you cannot overdose on marijuana.

Paying through the nose? Prohibition has and will continue to fail... almost $9 billion spent so far this year...and another $24 billion of potential taxes that went up in smoke.

Dr. Tashkin indicates marijuana, even when smoked does not cause cancer, infact, medical marijuana maybe a viable alternative to pharmaceuticals, which on a global scale kill near 3.5 million people. Pharmaceuticals killed that many, not marijuana, as we learned above.

As Industrial Hemp for food, fuel and fiber and we have to wonder why the plant was outlawed in the first place.

A never ending problem is prohibition, not marijuana.

Join Northern Wisconsin NORML today and help end marijuana prohibition once and for all!

Cannabus, specifically a compound called cannabidinol can actually and has been proven to slow tumor progression and actually get rid of tumors, so that argument is invalid. Look it up, there have been many studies. P.S. please research this stuff before you post it, it really makes you sound ignorant and uneducated. Educate yourself! don't believe me, look it up! knowledge is power!

This may be ur opinion. Have you ever smoked it or researched it? Doubtfully. Ignorance is the folly of man and governments alike. Don't believe me, research it for yourself. There are in fact, very few if any side effects from marijuana, as opposed to prescription pills which can, and have, killed people due to toxic reactions and/or overdose. So please be more thorough in your accusations. Thanks.

yes I do support the legalization of marijuana, when experiencing ailments such as cancer I would want life to be as less painful more easing, and the releife that it has been determined to provide... Think of your loved ones or just be the caring person God bith you to be.

Legalize it for both medical and recreational use. Not only would it stimulate our economy, it also would take away much of the funds that currently feed the mexican cartells.
