It's a PERSON'S RIGHT to choose what they put into their body, NOT THE GOVERNMENT'S!!! Not the federal government's or the state government's! Pot being illegal= PROHIBITION!

its our choice if we want to smoke it. its only harming our bodies. whats the big deal. if everyone smoked pot, the world would be such a happier place to be. everyone would just chill down a bit.

Cannabis is not dangerous, as supposed to alchohol and other chemichal drugs. Cannabis should be legalized or decrimilized, but still have regulations. For exampel there should be a kind of "roof" on how much you could by over the counter (i.e 5-10g), have an agelimit and no smoking in public streets (as with alchol). Legalization of cannabis would free up a lot of working hours for the police -time they could use for more important policework.

A)Marijuana has NEVER been attributed to a death UNLESS COMBINED with other substances. In comparison, it HAS BEEN PROVEN to be LESS HARMFUL and addictive than even CAFFEINE.
B)Legalizing would relieve the correctional system(state/federal) of petty violators leaving more time to pursue the dangerous criminals also saving tax revenue to be used towards our growing deficit
C) The government should keep their damn nose out of a private citizens business

its kind of pathetic that people really have to fight for this shit. i mean we are in control of ourselves, we can choose to get high, or drunk off our ass. we will deal with the consequences, wether it be a major hangover, married to some stranger, pregnant, or locked up. give people a choice, et go of the leash every once and while how bout it ^^

Its helpful for medicinal purposes and in many respects is a drug that nobobdy dies from. Nothing like alcohol which IS legal. LEGALIZE IT and deal with more important issues. This is all about the money and incarceration. Google what successes Portugal has done with their "drug addicts". In the last 10 years...they have cut their addict population in half. They spend the money on rehab not incarceration. DUH.

I have ALWAYS been an ardent supporter of the FULL legalization of ALL NARCOTICS. There are several banks in the Cayman islands, as well as Switzerland, Pitcairn, and Belgium who do not like my art work, but Her Excllency Grace Mugabe and the Central Intelligence Oraganization of Zimbabwe have always loved my art!
Patrick Herbert Walker Chinamasa and Paul Walker Mangwana are also very good friends of mine. Timothy Geithner and the Obamas are IDIOTS when it comes to Zimbabwe.

It's a proven herb of many centuries and actually can provide relief from diseases and pain. PROVEN and less damaging than alcohol. Moderate use just like other "drugs" that are legalized.

If the sale and distribution of alcohol and cigarettes is legal, marijuana should be also. What's more, our law enforcement, legal system and law enforcement could be better utilized to deal with more pressing issues if they were unburdened from dealing with marijuana cases.

Scientific studies have been had of its medical benefits including the reduction of up to 90% of skin cancer. DOES ALCOHOL FUCKING DO THAT?! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A BAR FIGHT? HOW ABOUT A MARIJUANA FIGHT?? This prohibition is obsolete and absolutely not fit for the US of A

I think the government should just give up trying to prevent it. They are NEVER going to win. No matter what we're going to get pot from somewhere. And it is a plant people! It grows naturally on the face of this earth. Don't panic it's Organic.
