God said, "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed which is upon the face of all the earth.…To you it will be for meat." … And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.(Genesis 1:29-31)

The Bible speaks of a special plant. "I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more." (Ezekiel 34:29)

A healing plant. On either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare 12 manner of fruits, and yielding her fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.(Revelations 22:1-2) A gift from God.

I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs. For afore harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches." (Isaiah 18:4-5)

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man and oil to make his face to shineth.(Psalm 104:14-15)

No harm from it the only reason it is illegal now is from lies and propoganda from those who profit from jailing others who choose to use it.

This is the truth! They get "x" amount for each inmate, fines, court costs, and none of it is going anywhere but the city's government pocket and the county jail system's pocket VS the tax dollars that could be helping pay down the national debt, rehabs "for other types of oxycontin n Rx abusers...that are legal to have with a RX", or people that are homeless or help them find work.

Americans should be free to choose what they want in their bodies if no harm comes to anyone else

Legalize marijuana! It's a waste of tax payers money to prosecute and jail drug users. Why? Once someone is incarcerated or found guilty of an offense, their chances of finding gainful employment is extremely diminished. Jailing drug users regardless of the type of drug also destroys families. The "War on Drugs" has become a "War on Families".

Fairly benign, no much different than alcohol, except that I consider it a gateway drug. I did it a lot between 18-34 yrs old, got sober (everything) 25 yrs ago. Had cravings for a long time, am dull now, in a fog, unmotivated, although I don't want to be.

Legalize it because it causes so much legal grief for an individual and stigma of being a 'criminal'. But watch out that it doesn't grab hold of you -- it is psychologically addictive!

alcohol is so much more dangerous people die all the time from it. Get in fights beat spouse etc. If the legalize it they can grow plants to make paper and rope
