Mexico legalized a number of drugs including pot - look what it's done that country & how it's spilling over into the US.

Less crime, MJ has not killed anyone since...ever. People drive slower if under the influence. It has legit pharma for pain management and Anorexia Nervosa. Plus what are the poor mexican cartels gonna do then?

It is SAFER then tobacco and alcohol and when many people are under the influence of alcohol they become violent and this dose not happen with marijuana it makes them more peaceful and marijuana has many economic benefits such as making paper and plastics. and save the state millions of dollars and hundreds of wasted hours on prosecuting people who are good people and think about it over 70% of america has tried it sometime though out there life

There are already so many people willing to buy Marijuana! We should legalize it to retain that money and pay off all our finacial bills we have in the USA

More of the governments money has been spent on regulatiing and controlling this plant that grows in the wild. If it were regulated like cigarettes and be forced to pay taxes then you would see a drop in usage.

In my book, and hallucinogen should be illegal. Ya'll are just a bunch of stupid dopeheads that don't wanna have to hide it. If I had my way, I'd ship all of you outta the country PERMANENTLY. Pot's legal in Mexico? Great!!! Go live there!!! You don't have to stay here!!!

....just want to remind you that we live in a democracy where the majority rules. The latest polls taken show that 56% of Americans see through the government's lies and support legalization. If you don't like it then you should move to a communist country were everything is outlawed. You'll probably like it there.

The legalization of Marijuana is an individual choice, not a criminal act. It reflects poorly on those who feel it should be illegal because it shows that fear is the driving force of our justice system. Morals should prevail to those who believe that marijuana should be illegal, not law. It should be the parents, not the police, to reprimand their children.

Prohibition is a lie that is well funded and highly reinforced by a willfully ignorant population. Like all lies, however, it will fail. The question is how long are we willing to fight a war that doesn't need to be an issue.

That's my thought.
