Marijuana should only be used under a doctors care to relieve pain in those dieing. Marijuana is usually the first illegal drug used before moving on to harder illegal drugs.

I guess you wouldn't mind letting someone who has been smoking marijuana drive the school bus for your kids bus route. And you probably won't mind if a pothead who is high is flying the plane that has your kids on board.

It is a mild hallucinogen. Don't want to work with anyone who is hallucinating; might cause an accident. By the way, do you have a job?

I think we all know there is an alcohol, marijuana and other illicit drug use danger of having anyone who uses these sit behind the wheel of a motor vehicle or pilot any plane. This particular forum is asking about Marijuana. So let's stick to the topic and why don't you anser the question. You answered you wouldn't mind putting your kids on a bus with a driver who is "high". Is that correct? And while we are on the discussion, would you mind having a doctor or nurse perform your surgery while they are under the influence of drugs?

Yes I would mind. Just like I would mind if they are driving or flying under the influence of alcohol. Just like alcohol it will just have to be regulated.

why have something as harmless as pot illegal when we can all purchase something much more harmful at the grocery store.

I would not want to see any person under the influence of any mind altering substance performing any task that may cause injury to themselves or others. Dont be a hypocrite, and single out one substance amongst hundreds as being a social menace. All drugs which influence a persons perception of reality should be monitored, and sold in a responsible manner. If your against mind altering substances make your point out so as to include all substances.
