the illegalization of marijuana is a cheap government tactic based solely on false propaganda distributed by the Reagan administration.

If you legalize it people (including children) will beleive it is safe and ok. Problem is you do not know your level of addiction resistance or your reaction to it. Unfortunately it is others who actually see the degradation and change in you.

Think of it this way...if you sell it like cigarettes, it's more revenue for the state in the way of sales tax. Marijuana should be legal, where alcohol should not. Do you beat your wife or kids when high? Do you start fights while high? No! Marijuana not only mellows you out, it's a natural growing substance, not manufatured like alcohol.

It hepls with pain, everyone needs it for different reasons. I WILL BE in the ground before they make it legal. They wouldn't even legalize it for medical. No matter what they say. They will NEVER legalize it Never. Too much mob money too be made.

Doesn't matter what they do. Those who deal it will only go on to the illegal drugs for profit. Those with addictions will be addicted to something legal or not.

People say they need it for pain...then they should have it.

I see kids in college, who have the great possibility to contribute to their country, who have been found with marijuana and they get up to 25 years in jail. In the meantime, here is this guy who raped and killed two sisters and he can get out after 9 years. Not saying this is support for legalization, but certainly the judicial system needs to change to accomodate non-violent crimes.
We know many of our politicians, lawyers, and pudits have smoked in the past. Heck, Steve Jobs even did LSD. Over the last 40 years how much money has been spent and lives ruined for holding a little bit of marijuana?
Corporations these days, especially the financial and mortgage corporations, with their fraud and derivatives have hurt more people and stolen more money from the public than marijuana users, and how many of these people have gone to jail?

Because of its illegal status, the plant is causing many good and smart people to have criminal records, which i believe is unfair. Also, no one is directly being hurt by someone smoking weed, therefore I see not point in not allowing it.
