I have read a lot of facts about marijuana, and i think it should be legal. how many deaths are caused by man made products? How many deaths do you hear of from smoking marijuana? before you vote no, do some studing on the subject.

If marijuana was legalized in West Virginia, the revenue collected from taxing it could be used to fix up schools or many other things needed in this area. Since alcohol is far more dangerous than pot what would be the harm?

The billions of dollars spent on the war on drugs have done very little to stop the flow or the want for drugs. pot should be legalized and taxed.

After all the billions of dollars wasted on "The war on drugs" which hasn't stopped the flow or the want in the US, the feds should legalize pot and tax it for revenue stream for the states.

it is very hypocritical to outlaw marijuana while leaving alcohol legal. alcohol and cigarettes are more harmful to you than marijuana. what is the real reason behind the prohibition of marijuana? why won't the government be honest with us? the federal government has no business saying what consenting adults do in the privacy of their own homes. the prohibition of marijuana is the legislation of the morality of a very select few of this countries elite. it makes no sense to legislate morality and you should not have any interest in what your neighbor does in the privacy of their own home. marijuana is a victimless crime, and if there is no victim there is no crime.

West Virginia has some rich earth. Perfect to grow some enjoyable herb. But they dont tax it, that is why it isnt legal. It all comes down to control.

Prisons should be for hard criminals, not for petty crimes such as cultivating or possessing marijuana. Cannabis was made illegal by propaganda and the notion of it being a dangerous substance should be rectified. The good it can do as a medicine far outweighs any harmful effects.

It should be legalized in every state. Unlike alcohol, there is no known incident of anyone overdosing from weed. Also, unlike alcohol, there are no know incidents of anyone beating their wife, their girlfriend, or anyone else due to the influence of weed. And another thing, unlike alcohol which is the deadliest drug on the planet by the way, no one has ever sped down the highway a 100 miles an hour thinking they were in the number 24 or whoever you choose to root for.
Legalizing weed would both reduce state expenditures for policing and increase revenue through increased taxes. A win win situation for the taxpayer.
