I believe that many police officers and drug dealers and innocent bystander lives would be saved by ending the so called war on drugs.

I also believe it would add a great amount of badly needed revenue both from the present funds being allocated to this war and from the taxes that could be raised. It would also diminish a significant amount of revenue for both organized and unorganized crime.

Well I believe that the people of Ovid have been in the drug growing / selling line of work for many years.There are many local cops that are dirty and involved . There are also many grape growers and winerys that were built on drug money in the Ovid area.There has been many , many kilo's of cocaine sold and transported through the area that have contributed to the cover up of many deaths over the years.Ovid NY is a snake pit for liars, crooks , killers, and corrupt officials.You see I know this because I was murdered in Ovid in 1985.They have tried to cover it up , let the case go cold,point people in the wrong directions and hide there punk kids who helped get me killed.And most of all the people Of Ovid never made a big public out cry about my murder because I was a outsider and they didnt care.What was done to me really hurt not only me but my family very bad.God will punish those invovled after they are punished here on earth.You see I know whats going to happen because I am with god now. You will all be brought to justice soon.The truth about the drugs and cover ups in Seneca County NY will not be a secret for much longer. So all of you people who tricked me, set me up and destroyed my body your day in court is soon! And hell is even hotter!!!

Well Edward, You see you are missing the point because you dont know the whole story. This is not your fault. Drugs are evil , they are first used as a way to have fun socially ,then they are used to maintain a unproductive life style. More than 8 out of 10 violent offenders are also substance abusers. Most started out with a few beers and a joint at the keg party in high school.Then moved on to coke,crack,heroin,ect. This is not to say that all person who did these things ended up this way , thats not what I am saying.Most people out grow this behavior and move on with there lives. However the ones that dont all have the same common things in there back grown.If it werent for the deaths related to the growing and smuggling and running the criminal drug businesses and the addiction and lack of productivity as well as the car wrecks and abuse to children that can be traced back to most offenders early use of drugs ,then I would say smoke all you want.It is sad that people are so unhappy with reality that they have to get high to feel better about them selves.If you are from Seneca County NY you already know how corrupt the area is . It is that way because of drugs and greed.If drugs where legal it would take the profit out of drug dealing yes. But then it would just create another black market for drugs that would appear to be legal and the same corrupt people would still make money off of the dope.Wealther drugs are leagal or not isnt really the point. A life of drug addiction ,crime abuse and good people falling pray to the greedy dealers and corrupt community leaders is. Pot is just a first step for many in the drug life style. It wont maker you smarter or healthier or a more productive person.Drugs have ruined many lives in Seneca County NY, and are also behind many deaths. Yes I know so is alcohol.We dont need another legal intoxicant just because you say it isnt harmful.Drugs are destroying America we need to wake up and clean up .So No matter how you feel about pot or any other drug they are illegal now and should stay that way. If you want to destroy your self then by all means do so . But not at the expense of others.Move to a country that will let you fry your brains out. If that makes you a more free person that here , than good. I hope where ever this is , that there are junkies on every corner in every police station ,every hospital , every doctor ,every pilot in every airport you fly on, every school bus driver ,every EMS worker coming to save you when you have over dosed, Every Judge in every court room,every rehab you go to,every coach in every school, every teacher , every social worker , every child abuse protective person ,every heart doctor who is operating on you or your loved one, every old folks home nurse , so when you need your medicine or your wet pants changed they are to high to care .Sounds like a great place to live .Everyone gets stoned , all day ,dont worry about anything just get high. I bet even a pot head wouldnt want to live there . So dont try and turn my country I love into a crap hole move to one that is already there.I bet you will be running home as fast as you can. By the way I was murdered by people in the drug game back in 1985 . I never did drugs ever. So I know how evil these people are . Lots of love from heaven . Kristin.

Kristin, your spacing and use of punctuation is horrible. Don't they have an education program in Heaven?
Also, your stats are wrong and cannabis is not a gateway drug. And if you got murdered by "the drug game in 1985" you've had plenty of time to realize you got murdered by criminals, which in turn got created by prohibition.
I thought that when you died you achieved some kind of higher knowledge or something.

It's a crime... So it makes you a criminal... And that's what we're discussing here, Kristin. What if it weren't a crime.
