Legalization would only rejuvenate a horrible agriculture industry. Grow it, package it, sell it, and tax it. What's the problem? People are gonna smoke it anyway...I'd rather make money off of the stoners rather than watch our tax dollars go to wasted imprisoning them.

If this gets leagalized the next thing will be new laws to combat driving under the influence of a drug same as alcohal.
There already are laws on the books for this. DUI - Driving Under The Influence (drugs or alcohol).

Well documented studies of marijuana use indicate not only fewer and less substantial long-term effects, but less likelihood of disorderly or dangerous behavior in the time immediately following consumption than found with alcohol.

It doesn't kill people like cigarettes do.

The most abused legal drug is alcohol. Marijuana will only be worse. Dopers will kill more people than alcohol ever will.
Man, doubt it. You can get alcohol poisoning, deadly. You smoke too much weed, feel like shit for a few hours, just sleep it off. Most drivers who are high drive slower. Drunk drivers swerve in and out of lanes causing more commotion and havok on the highways. Get your shit straight.

I have smoked marijuana since I was a teen. I have a.d.d. and it helps me concentrate and for my mind not to wander. All of the people who are against marijuana have probably never tried and are under the typical illusions it is a gateway drug, it makes you lose brain cells, and it causes crime. All total garbage. Crime would drop is it was legal because you wouldn't have to go through criminals to get it, as for a gateway, anyone who would do other drugs would do them without trying marijuana if it wasn't around, as for losing brain cells I do way better on all my college exams when I smoke when I study. And as for people thinking about people driving under the influence of marijuana, most people don't want to leave where they are after smoking, unlike alcohol, and most of the people that would are already doing it now and the rest of America has no idea so things wouldn't change.

IIt's time to start using all of our natural resources instead of manmade medicines that are giving the people more side effects than what their sickness is giving them. They can use the crop for other things also besides medicine.
