There are far worse controlled substances on the market through prescription. Legalizing marijuana will lower the crime rate by taking the drug out of the hands of criminals.

people need to choose what they want to do having government tell them what they cant or cant do is wrong. and only allowing stuff to be legal just to tax it is super wrong if you need more money stop spending it and wars and congress salaries.

You are absolutely, 1000% wrong.
Clearly, you've never sparked up a doobie. If you had, you would know that anyone who smokes pot would much rather order a pizza or watch television or surf the internet or do a craft, than put another person's life in danger.

Alcohol literally endangers people's lives. It destroys the body and the brain. It is addictive. Pot just makes people calm and lazy.

You should try it sometime! Might help you become less grumpy and more in touch with what REALLY matters.

My granddaughter is only 18 years old and has been diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia. She also has severe lupus related migraine headaches. Prescription drugs do almost nothing to eleviate her pain and the side effects leave her non functional. Marijuana stops the pain within minutes and allows her to attend school and work. We need to legalize this pain reliever for everyone suffering from chronic pain. It is inhumane to deny people this help.

Alchohol is more dangerous.
Marijuana has actual medical uses.

Do you know what alcoholics do? Beat their wives & kids, and get into car crashes.
Do you know what stoners do? Get really high, eat food, and fall asleep.

No, actually alcohol is the gateway drug. Think about before you just repeat the same ole argument they've ran since the 1930's. Come on!

It's a complete waste of law enforcement resources to launch attacks on victimless crimes. I don't even think the officers themselves believe in what they're required to do. And on a national level, the enormous costs could be converted to enormous revenue and maybe we wouldn't have to keep closing our schools, and building more prisons.

It should be legal since everyone is doing it anyway! Why not? It's a way of life for most people and a lot don't view it as a drug. In my personal opinion I would say Go Green!
