No, pot should remain illegal! Anyone ever wonder why illegal drugs are sometimes referred to as "dope"???

Because with 5% of worlds population we have 25% of worlds prison population due to draconian zero tolerance laws. Over 80% of our prison inmates are for drug offenses and since the Reagan era war on drugs the percentage of women incarcerated has increased 1,100%. We're wasting money and worse, we've over burdened our prison system with drug offenses and now are forced to release violent criminals earlier and give them lighter sentences because of over crowding. The bureaucrats will proclaim that marijuana ruins young lifes, well what does a 10 year prison sentence and felony charges do to a young persons life?

Once the medical facts are known, the need for legalization becomes obvious! For 100s of actual medical studies on cannabis, run a search for "Granny Storm Crow's MMJ Reference List". Educate yourself!

When the medical facts about cannabis become known, the need for legalization becomes obvious.

I challenge all of you to learn the facts from reputable sources. I collect studies from PubMed and medical journals, and news articles about the the studies. Please run a search for "Granny Storm Crow's MMJ Reference List" and read them for yourself. You will find no "High Times" articles in my List. I prefer honest science to "fluff".

Educate yourself with the medical facts and make up your own mind!

What a silly argument. Urine and cow manure are both natural too, but most folks would never drink or eat either.
