The government needs to do a better job at convincing the American voters if they want to continue on with this prohibition of marijuana. They claim that the plant is dangerous and deadly, yet they can't provide any proof or evidence to back these claims up. If you want to know the FACTS about marijuana then click on the link below.

Its not a gateway drug it helps with many different illnesses'. what's wrong with smoking weed? Like really once the government gives a very good reasonable explanation to why it shouldn't be legal. Nothing is wrong with it. If that's the case, make cigarettes and alcohol illegal too. Be fair with it. Those things already have records of people dying from it. So again. Government and world. What would you do to help and not mess over each other we are not a united nation. We supposed to look at the better sides of things. Look at how much money the states that have made it legal made n profited from.

Marijuana Decriminalization Measure Introduced for Louisiana:

Legislation is pending in the House to reduce marijuana possession penalties to a non-criminal, fine-only offense. House Bill 906 amends penalties for the possession of up to one ounce of marijuana from a criminal offense (punishable by up to six-months in jail) to a fine-only, no arrest, jail, or criminal record.

The ongoing criminalization of marijuana financially burdens taxpayers, encroaches upon civil liberties, engenders disrespect for the law, and disproportionately impacts communities of color.

Please click on the link below and use the pre-written letter to contact your elected officials in support of this sensible marijuana law reform.
