In this country we incarcerate multitudes of people, and spend millions of dollars in a no-win battle to try and stem the sale and use of marijuana. I think we should spend our tax dollars and efforts in more productive endeavors like education!

I agree with education, but what do we do, ignore drugs. no way in hell, we must do all we can to stop drug use. if one life is saved, its a victory

Legalization of Marijuana will put the criminal dealers out of business. Regulate, Tax and Control may be the best way to deal with it.

Anyone stating that marijuana is dangerous and that it will hurt your kids is clearly uneducated. I don't say that simply because most of you opposing this issue here have made a multitude of grammatical errors and clearly lack the ability to spell; I say it because I can tell from your lack of effort in writing a thorough response that you only oppose it because that's what you've always been taught to do. I'm not telling you to turn around and support legalization right now, but take the time to look at the legitimate facts with an open mind. Unless you are actually as mentally numb as your posts here make you seem you will see for yourself that a lot of the things you may have heard are simply not true.

There seems to be very little in the way of factual evidence for your assertion that most of the ones opposing this issue here have made a multitude of grammatical errors and clearly lack the ability to spell. Can you support your claim by showing which opponents you are referring to with this comment?

From your comment it appears you're in favor of its legalization. I don't care how anyone spells, etc. in a free forum, my concern is dope, and it is appropriately named, should never be legalized. Any 3rd grader knows what dope does. Do you indulge?
