It's easier for children to get marijuana today than it is for them to get alcohol. To get alcohol they would have to go into a store and show proof of their age. To get marijuana they can go to the nearest black market and purchase it with no questions asked. Protect are children by legalizing the stuff. Sadly, this is not why it's illegal.

Marijuana should of never been illegal, its just the polititions who dont want it legal and the big pharmy corps they will all lose allot of $ and the prison will lose state funding also, The war on drugs in a big joke and the world knows it!!

Its just abig political game, they all know marijuana is harmless and has many medical benefits there just greedy and will all lose allot of $ if its legal, I would much rather have my kids smoke pot when there 18 then be drinnking alcohol, or cigeretts!! thousands of kids, and adults die everyday from legal drugs and pills. No one ever has or will die from smokeing marijuana. It's all about the $, The pharmy corps give big checks to polititions to keep it illegal.

Marijuana has been proven to have less negative effects and acohol, and the number one argument against it is invalid. people say that it is a gateway to other illegal drugs, but how would it be a gateway to ILLEAL drugs if it itself is legal?

No kidding make it legal. It's only a matter of time anyway. I'm middle aged and I'd say over half of the people I know smoke. I'm not talking about low life folks, these people ate professionals like engineers, teachers, doctors, businessman. It's time we get over it legalize it, regulate the production and sales and turn this into.something positive.
