If they would just legalize it like alcohol, and tax it they would make more money for the government.they are not going to stop people from using it anyway.

No more, and probably less dangerous than alcohol. However it needs to be regulated for safety, and needs to be taxed and regulated like tobacco and alcohol (from minors and for driving laws) US grown to keep the $$ in this country too

It is a huge wast of law enforcement resouces yo fight a drug that is much more benign than alcohol, not to mention that it has been unsuccessful for the most part.

Why not? If people want to do it, let them. Not anyone else's business. Plus the government could tax it and restrict it. With increasing debt, the government can find a new revenue stream with this just like Canada.

I support it for recreational and medicinal purposes. Whiskey is legal and I know how it can make people behave like they are raving lunatics. I have never seen people behave that way from smoking pot. I will add that I am a chronic pain sufferer, and pot relieves the pain. I know this from first hand experience.

Y'all are very much for the Leagization of Marijuana. Why is there still a law against it ? This needs to become our (the Nation's) biggest issue. It would create revenue and end a budget that goings back over 60 years. We could save the economy with this money. And create jobs for many, as well as help the American farmer. I agree too, no added chemicals like they do tobacco. There are over 450 chemicals in a cigarette that can kill you, over 150 of them are registered as poisons. I smoked for 25 years. I have been smoke free for 10 years. I've survived colon cancer for 6.
Legalize Marijuana now Y'all. Call your Congressman and Representatives.

Drug laws have no place in a free society.

Absolutely! It would allow law enforcement to crack down on REAL crime, instead of bothering with this. If alcohol is legal, pot certainly should be. Alcohol causes way more problems than pot ever has. Plus, they could tax it like they do alcohol and cigarettes and make a fortune!

Yes, absolute "No brainer"! If anyone had a disease that would benefit from the relief given from it's use and tried it, I'm sure it would be an enthusiastic "yes" also!

My personnel opinion is that MARIJUANA does less harm than ALCHOL. I have not seen any negative statistics about side affects pertaining to the use of MARIJUANA!!! CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG....

If it helps people, then give them the choice to use it.
