Legalization would bring revenue to the state. It would also reduce crime related to attaing marijuana. Marijuana also causes less harm than alcohol.

There is nothing left to tax, this would bring serious revenue to the state. It is everywhere anyway, legalize-regulate and tax it!

I support the legalization of Marijuana & Hemp because I truly believe that this will save our economy. Actually.. environmentally Hemp could save our Planet! Here we are fighting all these wars.. MANY Lives are lost to what?? OIL
Hemp can be made into Biodegradable Diesel fuel. Fuel that is SAFE for our environment. The uses for Hemp are LIMITLESS.. Medicine.. food.. clothing.. food.. paper ( Saving Trees).. omg the List goes on & on..
Taxation of Marijuana alone would bring in BILLIONS.. Billions that could be used to educate our children better.. provide affordable health care for ALL..rejuvenate Social Security..

The United States COULD be a Self Sufficient Country BUT it is our IGNORANCE that holds us back...

I'm surprised real princeton supports this idea of legalizing marijuana, lol. I. Thik it's a great idea, as mentioned there are countless benefits to legalizing it. Also, as mentioned alcohol was once illegal, but now it's legal. And extremly harmful in soooo many ways.
Blame Republipigs and Nixon for "the war on drugs", as it's also a war on North and South America. It's just another excuse to unjustly steal tax dollars. On something that's completely unnecisarry.

I don't agree however that people should be allowed to smoke pot and drive.. the only reason there aren't. Any statistics on car accidents caused. By pot is because there's no way to measure it physically.

(And no, I do NOT smoke pot, and rarely drink....but, I do see that the war on drugs is a Republican. Scheme to steal. Tax dollars)

Excuse my typing, I'm using a tablet that has a weird input method.

Well, I could see how someone might assume this is the case. Yet, I ask you to look to your left and then your right the next time you are at work. At least one of these folks uses it I would bet. I personally have used the stuff for over 20 years to deal with PTSD from the gulf war but also have a BSEE, work 60-70 hours a week, own a house and am otherwise a law abiding citizen. I think if you stop listening to politicians who have never tried it yet attempt to legislate morlity and start listening to those of us who know you might just have a change of heart.

Right on Big B. "LEGALIZE IT! DON'T CRITICIZE IT!" Now on to more important issues. I want all the cute Wisconsin fat chicks to weigh in on this topic. Pipe or rolled weed? Favorite stoner munchie? Painter or a taster? Come on chubby cuties, let's hear from you. Mr. FIB has some sweet ganja and glazed donuts waiting for you...
