there is nothing wrong with marijuana if alcohol and ciggerates kill more people than anything in the world and that shit is legal then why not legalize the stuff that will not only boost the economy but also has less of an affect on people than the other crap that is legal..specially the stupid pain pills we perscribe to the people that gets em addicted real fast and crazy..ill never understand why neone cud think of marijuana as a drug...a drug u have to do stuff to to make it that way..like pharmasuticals and alcohol and ciggs and freakin everything that is legal. but the one plant that u dont have to do nething to that can literally make jus bout anything and literally saved my uncles life who has cancer, is the only thing that is ILLEGAL...its so stupid to me. this world makes no sense at all...but thats ok lets keep getting the americans addicted to pain pills and alcohol and ciggs but lets take away the one thing that is natural that doesnt do nething but make u happy hungry and sleepy. so who nos but all i no is that they shud legalize it ...its dumb not to..considering theyd make billions ...but who cares rite...lol losers......

I defiantly support the legalization of marijuana. It is just a wonderful thing to smoke. I smoke every day but it should only be legal for goood weed not poo weed.

SOmething that many people don't realize is that what ever is illegal is not for the safety and welfare of the masses. It is all for political gain. Before prohibition, marijuana was legal. Then the laws switched. I agree with the above comments that alcohol and cigarettes are FAR more deadly and destructive than marijuana. Another thing I would like to point out is that main stream media (All your local news blah blah) is not all there is to know. They are all governed by the same authority. People need to look at alterative media for other info in order to make a sound judgement about paricular issues such as this. The reason I bring this up is because people who watch only mainstream TV are puppets to whatever opinion is desired. They will slowly be brainwashed. i.e. marijuana is bad. People start researching and open your eyes not just to this but everything! Politicians are pulling fast ones left and right because the think most people don't give a crap to spend even five minutes a day seriously looking around them. They are too caught up with work and the commute, and kids and dinner and bills. We are putty in their hands! The sooner we wake up the better!

I've spent 5 years addicted to prescription pain meds. marijuana helps control my chronic pain without the danger of liver damage among other side effects. and it doesn't make the big pharm company's rich.

Doesn't matter if it is. Nobody will be able to smoke it because we all would be jobless. No company, even if legal, will allow their workers to have THC in their blood. No it's not bad for you but it does impair you. So unless you have a pre-script, it won't be ok to smoke if you want to have a job.
