I oppose due to the facts it causes damage to the lungs just as ciggaretts. Doesn't America have enough loss of lives from that. Do we really need driving under the influence. Not needed!

I support it because it's not physically addictive and less harmful than alcohol. Also these people take up space in jail.

you sound like your just regurgitating what you've been told. maybe you should really reflect on the way our society works. We have way more harmful chemicals readily available, also how is it your or the governments right to decide what people can and cannot use.

I think it should be legalized with control. The government might have a problem with that though.

Your worried bout damage to the lungs? That is you argument of opposition? That is silly. It is a great drug for those who use it. I myself hate it, i do not like the way it makes me feel. But for those who enjoy it and can use it to make this life we live a tiny bit easier than thats great. It should be leagalized, but controlled just like alchol is with the drinking age of 21. There alos should be a cap on how mutch you can buy in a month, week, year...etc. car emissions do more damage to the lungs than marijuanna smoke . silly

Never liked any drugs but that's my choice and tried pot a couple of times didn't see any harm in it.
My choice is a little drink here and there find it to be the same. Anything is bad if you abuse it!

Too bad it's been proven that Marijuana has ZERO correlation with Lung Cancer. Here's a link if you want something tangible:

I support the legalization of marijuana.

Look at it like this:

MOST Americans have tried marijuana at least once which means they already have access to it AND will smoke it if they wanted to.

If you legalize it then you can regulate it. You can:

1. Make sure nothing bad is done to the marijuana
2. Tax it and make massive revenue on it for our struggling economy
3. Turn the violent drug cartels upside down and put them out of business (saving billions of dollars of tax dollars that go to fighting it in the process as well)
4. Reduce ALL arrests by 25%. Yes 1/4 of ALL ARRESTS in the US are marijuana related.
5. Give people a much safer and much less violent alternative to alcohol.

Alcohol you can drink once even twice even and you can still see reality with pot you cannot. Pot causes you to hallucinate.

Remember the florida cannibal that was eating a mans face? He was on pot nothing else.

By the way stating drug abuse pot smoking is your choice is not true, you have no choice when it comes to pot. That monkey on your back takes over.

Do you know how many mass murderers in the States
were pot smokers? Way to many!

America isn't crazy by any means due to her gigantic list of mass murderers but she does have a humungous drug abuse problem.

James Holmes the Colorado Theater Shooter, John Wayne Gacy,
Ramirez, Son of Sam Killer, the Amityville Horror killer and countless others were pot smokers!

Pot fries your BRAIN!

Pro-pot protestors are nothing but drug addicts trying to feed their addiction more by trying to legalize it.

Wow, you can not be serious right now.

I high off pot right now and i'm making these perfectly coherent posts. Maybe your getting mixed up with shrooms or salvia or something..?

Pot rarely, if ever, makes you hallucinate unless it's laced with something or you smoke *massive* quantities at once. Pot just relaxes you, enhances your current mood/feelings and makes you look at everything much differently for the duration of the high.

And yes you do have a choice when it comes to pot. If somebody told me that I can never smoke pot again; I would be a bit disappointed but it wouldn't be devastating. Nobody can't or should force you to do anything that you wouldn't want to do. This is (or at least should be) a free country.

Ok....maybe not "perfectly coherent" but it was enough to get my point across very clearly.

I also wanted to add that is also enhances all four of your senses as well.
