It is not more harmful than alcohol, maybe even less. Tax it, the country needs the jobs and the money.

I think it will give money revenue back to the city, and the crime will go down,getting a lot of dealers off the street.

Agree with above ^^ will help lessen burden on the judicial system for unaggressive crimes.

Marijuana Decriminalization Measure Introduced for Louisiana:
Legislation is pending in the House to reduce marijuana possession penalties to a non-criminal, fine-only offense. House Bill 906 amends penalties for the possession of up to one ounce of marijuana from a criminal offense (punishable by up to six-months in jail) to a fine-only, no arrest, jail, or criminal record.
The ongoing criminalization of marijuana financially burdens taxpayers, encroaches upon civil liberties, engenders disrespect for the law, and disproportionately impacts communities of color.
