It's illegal is not an argument, legalization would revitalize our failing economy.

MJ needs to be reclassified, the "reefer madness" mindset needs to be layed to rest already.

Illegal MJ just sustains the black market, fuels cartels/gangs, and costs the US more money and lives than can ever be justified. For what, what is the return on that cost?
This prohibition is obviously not working, and there are many better uses for those resources.

I believe it will benefit the state's budgets & depts by finding a way to tax it such as taking the taxes out of our PFD's of the applicants that would check the box that states he/she uses it for personal, medical, research, growth, ect. for those that do grow & use it in privacy of their homes, those that need it for Medicinal uses, for the UAA to do extensive Medicinal Research Studies of all it's many uses as medicines in many forms from tablets, eatibles, smoking, ect. I'm sure most citizens would be very honest & very glad to pay a tax for it's uses. I know from experience that Marijuana can & should be used for a lot of medical uses such as for anorexia, cancer, chronic & acute pains, depression, anxieties, asthma, tension relief, ect., oh & also for ADHD & ADD in both adults & especially children instead of having doctors dole out the Schedules II, III, IV, & V Controlled Substance that are the Narcotic stimulants that many would rather & do sell or trade them in for Marijuana because I say stimulants just don't really work, makes many feel uncomfortable, they're not always safe, they end up in wrong hands a lot of the time, they're very addicting, have too many unwanted side effects, ect. We now live in a society where it's more sociably acceptable, more universities are conducting their own studies of it, & we're finding safer & more effective ways to grow, test, & & use the stuff more safely. But by all means, do treat it as a Forbidden Fruit, for that's what Marijuana & other narcotic drugs may be.

Of course you support a system in which you make a profit off of.....Prohibition is coming to an end. Enjoy your last days of getting overtime pay to beat up on innocent people that possess plant matter. You and your prohibitionist buddies have destroyed far too many lives. The majority of Americans now support legalization.'We the People' now know who the real criminals are.

Marijuana should be legal, with all the medical problems I have its much cheaper and its better then putting all kinds of med's in me but with marijuana two bowls a day maybe three depending on the weather witch effects my osteoporosis works for me and its almost $100 a month that I would save.
