Liquor is legal and causes a lot more problems than marijuana. Legalize it and use the money that would have been spent on getting rid of the meth, pills and heroin. Those are the real drugs, not pot.

Are you contract day labor of full time with workman's comp insurance? If you have an accident, and accidents are common in the roofing business, you will be tested first thing at the hospital.. If you test positive all you get is basic care and the presence of drugs in your systems nullifies any attempt to get a settlement even though your injuries could cripple you for life. Think about your future when you fire up another one.

Revenue
To collect tax revenue, pot could only be grown by government approved growers with regulations as to quality and an accounting for every ounce produced. The ATF would be involved and home growers would be treated like moonshiners and do federal time, not local jail time. By the time county, city, state, and federal taxes were added, the old going price would double.

Step up,stand out and test the laws as they are or slink back to the shadows with the other dopers and losers that want "someone else" to do the work.

Workplace rules are to protect the health and wellbeing of employees while on the premises. No one makes "other's lives miserable" but those who aren't capable or not willing to follow those simple rules. It's best that those people be weeded out to seek employment and happiness elsewhere.
