Most of all it oppresses a certain class of people, and oppression like that is just Un-American. I think it will save our country and is an excellent product for medication, hemp for clothing and other goods like paper; I honestly don't know why it's illegal. I'll never understand it. The revenue for arresting someone has got to be pitiful and it can ruin someone's life, and the prospects for jobs, income---there are so many benefits and possibilities. (See the movie Saving Grace.)

It's a fairly harmless drug, we would have a lot less arrest for it, everyone does it anyway so why not legalize it and save the trouble

That's simply not true. In fact, a health article in TIME called it "the myth that wouldn't die".

A 1999 report commissioned by the U.S. Congress debunks this myth.

People actually use alcohol and tobacco before anything else. Marijuana is no more a gateway to hard drugs than booze is a gateway to marijuana.

If it helps people with Parkinson's and give us a new crop on our spare soil, we need to legalize. The medical benefits & profits are worth it. And we need to grow hemp as well, the best rope, clothing & fertilizing plant ever: we are prime real estate for the next ecological boom harvest.

I'm all for legalizing it as long as there is a reliable test to determine if someone is under the influence while driving. I don't want a bunch of stoners, which I consider myself one, to get behind the wheel while consuming.

I've been in severe pain most of my life. I've lived most my life on pain meds. They didn't work, got me addicted, cost alot of money, destroyed my stomach, shall I go on? One joint takes away my ppain, it is all natural, you can't get addicted. It doesn't play havoc on your body. It helps with lack of hunger and nausua. It's a no brainer!

It is a waste of taxpayer money to prosecute people for something that cannot be controlled besides its practically harmless

Our auto insurance will skyrocket if it's legalized.
