The only reason to support it should be the medical use and the uses such as making it into paper. i bet you all most of the people putting yes are a bunch of drug dealers and pot heads because when you get down to it there are more bad then good in this world.

It seems to me that this problem has been around for quite a long time now and it makes me wonder why the think tanks in government and the authorities can not show any progress in solving the problem. There is a solution but the truth is that they are not interested in legalizing marijuana because a lot of money can be made for every Tom, Dick and Harry. Once it is legalized, the price of the weed will naturally drop and it will be easily available to any body who wants it. Planters of the weed will no longer be interested in supplying the market with the stuff and eventually stop planting it. Taxing the operator can be a big help to our country.

It has been said that cigarettes is bad for our health,...that alcohol is also bad for our health, yet these two health busters are being used by millions of individuals all over the world. True" but the makers of these products are raking in so many millions of dollars from them yet nobody seems to mind the continued use of both. Marijuana no doubt causes some ill effects to our body and is forbidden by the law to be sold to the public. Are they honestly or wholeheartedly very concerned with one's health. Alcohol and cigarette makers are being taxed, so why not tax Marijuana producers and legalize the sale of the weed ???

You never heard of a pothead going home and beating his wife...too relaxed. You never heard of a potheat plowing someone down with thier car...driving 15 mph. Besides, our country needs the tax revenue.

If booze is legal, pot damn well should be too.

why does everyone jump to the reason of cannabis being illegalized because of it being "dangerous". thats not the reason at all. They are all just excuses to frighten the puplic so no one will use them for any of cannabis's wide range... very wide range of uses. For example; cannabis is one of the most healthy and benifiting ingredients in hair conditioners and body mousturizers, it also is an amazing drug for releaving stress (if used moderatly) and is perscribed by doctors everywhere. but one of the main reasons cannabis has been illegalized was because of four companys ganging up on the cannabis producing companys. these companys are; Paper, alcohal, tobacco, and the logging industry. the paper and logging industry wanted cannabis illegalized because it was much much easy to grow in mass ammounts and be turned into, guess what... PAPER! and it was durable light paper as well and extremly cheap to make(in comparison to the tree paper buisness). The alcohal and tobacco companies absolutly hated cannabis because it was their major competitor for stress "relieving" products and was much more healtier for you (in the short term if used moderatly). and to answer the other guys statement once everyone an grow it, cannabis prices will hit the floor and it will make little to no money selling it small time where a big buisness can sell and make in bulk.(kinda like setting up a lemonade stand lets see you turn a profit on that). and yes i understand the people who want t grow it in there homes can smoke there own and i theroize that they would make it illegal to grow more than a plant or two in the same way its illegal to make your own alcohalic beverages. If you look at the main supporters of anti-drug type stuff theyt are more than likley to have at least one alcohal and one tobacco company backing them so no Cannabis will more than likley not be legalized in the near future, but if people educate themselfs on the many uses of Cannabis and the reasons for the illegalization they will find themselves more then likely to think more on the side of cannabis rather than the polititions who are backed by alco. and tobb. companies. Just a couple of examples but most of the first 16 presidents had there own garden of cannabis (haha not in the textbook kiddies) and they would smoke a joint just about everyday to help them stay calm and collected.by the way it dosnt ever help to just argue the point that its not as unhealthy for you as alcho. or tobbaco because the edia constantly portrays everyone who smokes weed as a failure and a total and complete ass! and no one who dosnt take there time and acctualy learn what they are arguing about will always lose. so i hope you enjoyed this tad it of info. and hope it maby helped you understand that there is alot of media hype and corruption is the reason for the illegalization of Cannabis.

Damn i wish i could edit posts. another tip dont call it pot or marujuana these are slang terms for cannabis which will also turn poeple away. if you use phrazes like "If booze is legal, pot damn well should be too." it makes you sound un educated and will more that likley urn people away please dont hinder our cause present a logical explination for your reasons instead of a lazy 3 sentence paragraph. because honestly i think the one thing that ticks me off about why things dont happen is because the wrong people are backing the argument there are to many people who acctual smoke Cannabis only because it tickpeople off or there dissobaying mommy and daddy. so please please try a little harder and dont put lazy comments.

Hmmm. Where to start? First, makes "normal" people relax. Not sure what your point is there. Alcohol doesn't kill people, people abusing/misusing alcohol kills people..

Damn, that's the worst use of the English language, terrible punctuation and grammar that I ever read.

You should be proud of yourself, you said all that, "NOTHING" and it took you that long to write it.

Speaking of sounding uneducated, you aren't doing yourself any favors with your terrible spelling and lack of punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and an actual point. I'd advise you to learn to type, but I think you'd do well to start with learning how to think, spell and reason first, then you can work on your typing.

Your writing is so poor, it's hard to figure out what side of the issue you're defending here, but you seem to be supporting the use of marijuana, my guess is you must be speaking from experience. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is a great example of why marijuana should be illegal and remain that way.

Guess you've never seen the liver of someone who enjoyed alcohol regularly and has died for cirrhosis of the liver because of it.

upon legalization, there will be restrictions. DUI does include any type of drug. No one needs to be impaired while driving. but you probably discuss this at length on your cell phone while driving all the time......

I believe that there are much more important issues at hand these days then the cosumption of marijuana. I find it rather rediculous that someone can classify a weed which grows freely as illegal and immoral. let me ask you folks if the goverment made grass illegal tomorrow you would think why its just grass right well thats how we feel about marijuana. Now i know your saying well grass doesnt mess up your mind which is true but neither does marijuana.all these people with there so called facts about Marijuana and the effects of THC are blowin it out of there asses not to mention the ones making this natural herb illegal are the folks who have never even seen it and or used it. This has got to stop everyone just take a deep breath inhale just once and tell me im wrong that this issue is being blown way out of proportion.
