I'm sure to get blasted for this, but what the hey, why not! IMO, "maryjane" can't be worse than alcohol or tobacco, which are both legal. I've never smoked the giggleweed, but feel it's probably less addicting than even caffeine. Smoking pot doesn't automatically equate to experimenting with stronger drugs, IMO. I don't have the statistics, but I'd wager more people have died due to alcohol and/or tobacco use than marijuana. Besides, have you ever heard of an "angry stoner?" Well, maybe if you snag their last bag of doritos :)

Not to mention the therapeutic/medicinal purposes marijuana has proven to provide for those who need it.

Pardon me while I don my fire-retardant suit...

It is time to end the propaganda and losing war on drugs that wastes billions of dollars of taxpayer money that could go towards the school system we can barely afford now. This is a plant that has been used for thousands of years in human history and has been proven to be safer than alcohol by a wide margin. Lets end the bullshit, people.

Just think too of the longest and most costly Wars in America history are not even wars under any normal definition, just merely a method of massively increasing Government spending, power and control over the people. Those two so called wars are “The War or Poverty” and “The War on Drugs” both are miserable failures, simply because the goal was never to win them in the first place. If drugs are legal will there be some people who use them irresponsibly and maybe even kill themselves and others, absolutely yes. Can any Free society stop this from happening, absolutely NOT! Can the Most restrictive and powerful government in the world stop that from happening, absolutely NOT!

I find that it is very relaxing, a great stress eliminator. Nor do I feel the need for precription drugs,(that turn you into some kind of hard to deal with monster,) to get the same relief!!

Not only is it not harmless, but it's an efficacious medicine

But how politics and corrupt Big Pharma, Textile and Fuel lobbyists have truly hurt human-kind in so many ways (needless prison-time/$$$expenditures$$$ & right to personal privacy). And how it all began (w/ CA ironically first to truly lead in becoming illegal) in the 1930s is even more ridiculous(excellent 3min. vid here)

Yes i do . I think the should and put a tax on it like cigs and alcohol. I sure couldn't hurt to have some more income for this county. It is going to smoke anyway so why not make a profit ...
