It has more useful purposes other than medical. Clothing from hemp is more comfortable and last longer than cotton. As far as the ways it can be taken include smoking, vaporizing, eating various preparations, and absorption. There is no comparison to the synthetic versions and the all natural. I'd rather use marijuana for my pain than I would a narcotic.

Alcohol is sold to adults without restriction. With less than $20, an adult can purchase amounts of alcohol that are many times the safe limit for a person to drink in one day. An adult has about six quarts of blood - 192 ounces. If an adult has a blood-alcohol concentration of half of one per cent, that adult will probably be dead. That's less than one ounce of alcohol in their blood. We should be glad that only a bit of the alcohol we drink ends up in our bloodstream.

But all the time, the government is making money out of the alcohol that is sold, by taxes. And here in Tennessee, only the state stores can sell it!

Why, oh why, is Marijuana illegal, when it is less dangerous to the human body than alcohol, or even aspirin? Because first the law was passed to protect the big textile corporations. Second, because once a law is passed, with enough publicity to keep it, a law will never be removed from the books.

I think if it were legal more people would be able to obtain jobs, they cannot obtain now because marijuana is not legal and it is in their system.

Are you medically stupid? That's a serious question.

Just because it becomes legal doesn't mean employers have to change their drug policy. They still can/will drug test you for marijuana and other drugs.

Smoking pot keeps me from randomly beating the teetotal fkk out of people! Maybe if it was legalized, the idiots I want to beat the fkk out of, would smoke it too..and then they wouldn't be so bad either! World peace! Instead of locking someone up for pot, spend their time chasing down crackheads that steal and kill for what they want and rid of them! Pot won't keep me from getting a job, I will put it down for what ever NEED be, as I did. Ask a crack head or alcoholic to put theirs down, and there ain't no way!

Actually they would have to change their policy on pot for employees. If someone tested positive they would show proof of medications just like with a script. If it were legal that is.

No different with prescription pills; therefore not changing it at all. Perhaps adapting to medical marijuana, but not having to change it; however that wasn't the premise to the argument, now was it?

I think they should legalize marijuana, due to the fact Americans use it. THEY tax everything else. Why not marijuana?

With the nations debt these days why wouldn't any state or city legalize and take advantage of a MULTI-BILLION dollar cash crop?

Bad thing about legalizing it is that companies will tamper with the quality by adding unnecessary chemicals like with cigs and cheat u out of the pure smoke that ur paying for. I say no. Leave it alone.
