The subject of this post is the legalization of MJ. If it were to be legalized, you would able to buy it, possess it,and sell it in small quantities ,but you would NOT be able to USE it legally if you have any kind of a real job where it is not allowed to be in your system while you are on the premises. Most smart companies spell the fact out up front that MJ and other drugs will not be tolerated. The workman's comp rules require that people be tested randomly and if you are injured on the job,you will be sent to a emergency care location where the first thing they do is hand you a specimen cup....no choise. You test positive in either case, you are history, with a dismissal report that will follow you when you look for another job. You can argue, cuss, and fuss all you want but the company cannot afford to have you there posing a danger to the other employees. If you are already financially set for life and don't ever need to work,go for it but if not, think about the consequences when you fire up that doobie.
Do muti-national corporations in Amsterdam have the same work-place testing standards as the U.S. Laws and standards are always subject to change. That includes labor laws, OSHA and insurance. Prior to Drug-Free Workplace requirements, what were the accident rates that could be traced to an employee's drug use?

Both OSHA and the CDC have mixed so much ant-drug propaganda into their research, that it's extreamly difficult to get at scientific fact. In fact, for every CDC study on canabis, there are at least ten peer-reviewed studies that indicate the opposite in most cases. The drug war has become its own religion with its own army.

Gallup has been polling on the subject of Marijuana legalization since 1970. Fast-foward to 2013 to the latest Gallup poll. This poll shows a record 58% in favor of legalization for (get this) "Recreational" use. This poll, also, shows major shifts in all demographic and age groups.

Sounds like the tide is shifting.

Guys again I'm very sorry. When I don't take my meds I am a little messed up in the head. I'm a pathetic loser who still lives with his parents. I have no life. I argue with people because I am jealous of them. The A stands for a**hole.

ThomasA, you seem to be everywhere from Arkansas to Alabama. I don't know what to make of you. On the Birmingham, AL forum, you seem to be for legalization. However, now you seem very bitter about the idea. Just who are you, and what are your intentions?

He is an internet troll. Like all trolls, his only goal is to argue with everyone and produce as much chaos and mischief as possible on whichever thread he decides to hijack. Pay no attention to the lame S.O.B. he has nothing better to do.

Not arguing. Just debating both sides of the subjects. Looks like there are schizoids on here that can't debate those subjects with opposing views so they turn to cyber stalking other posters to try to force their views on others. That adolescent behavior detracts from any rational goal they are trying to achieve.

Careful ThomasA. You try to sound legally logical. However, comments like these reveal the raw emotional (broken record) and irelevant hysteria prohibitionists resort to when cornered.

Temperance true believers said the exact same things when prohibition against alcohol (Devil's Brew) was repealed.
