Me no thinks that during creation God contemplated placing illegal plants all over the place. The point here is that a natural plant came before any law and supersedes any law that only criminally injures where there was no criminal injury to start with.

Because the government makes more money off of it being illegal. More so when you can stifel any competition thereby keeping prices artificially high to maximize profits. Now why would you want to spoil a good thing by giving it away to the people?

More harm is done by putting people in jail then is justified by the drug itself

Too many reasons to list. It is FAR less harmful than other pain relievers, which are extremely addictive, damage organs and can be deadly. The reasons for keeping it illegal are primarily monetary and corrupt. THC can reactivate mitochondria in the body that can literally eat away cancerous tumors. There are no health risks from marijuana that even come CLOSE to the damage done to the individual and to society from tobacco and alcohol. Keeping it illegal increases drug related violent crime and funds drug cartels instead of hardworking Americans. The war on drugs is an under the table money-making scheme and a sham.

natural just like the poppy and coca plants are natural. natural like poison ivy is natural and sulfuric acid is natural.

what a load of horse hockey

it is a mind altering substance with no business in our society and all drug dealers, selling any amount of any drug whatsoever, should be automatically given the death penalty. For such a convict I will happily pull the switch on an electric chair or pull the lever on a gallows door myself.
