In this town? They should hand it out to people to cope with living in such a depressed place. No jobs, nothing to do, rumors rumors rumors.

So is cough medicine, which kids these days are drinking to get high. Sold at CVS.

Besides, Alcohol causes the most damage to your body per dose. It ravages your heart, kidneys, liver, and kills brain cells.

Weed hurts your lungs (assuming you smoke it instead of making brownies, in which case it's harmless) and doesn't kill brain cells (proven fact).

If I get drunk tonight, I'll still be feeling it eight hours later.
If I get stoned tonight, I won't be high anymore as soon as I eat a sandwich.

The best argument I ever heard AGAINST legalization was the fact that when they tried it in Alaska, high school test scores fell a few percentage points.

Keep in mind if they ever DID legalize it, they'd tax it to the point hardly anyone could afford it. Then they'd pass laws about driving under the influence of marijuana so they could fine the hell out of you. It's about for the money.

Weed should be legal. I feel that people who are using alcohol are more dangerous than people who smoke marijuana.

The majority of folks that smoke cigarettes are poor. They are addicted. Democrats have raised the taxes to the max on cigarettes because they know you are poor and they want to keep you that way. Spend an unreal amount of money on cigs and you are broke. Seen so many people choose cigs over what they should be buying and they'll do it with all the change they can scrounge up. What happens next is you are dependent on the government to survive, that is how the democrats want you. How now do you think pot will be taxed? Not trying to make anyone angry, just telling you the truth.

I support legalization because it is the most harmless "drug" that has been introduced to society. However, it is not a drug. It is, in fact, an herb. Its effects are often helpful in many medical issues, especially mental setbacks such as depression. The legalization and intelligent financial strategies could help this country with the debt we are in. It would be one of the few wise moves that the government has ever made.

no need its illegal and non taxable or the state would have already approved it. Plus the people selling are usually the ones getting help from the state

I would rather people smoke pot than turn towards the "legal" alternative "spice".
