I don't care one way or the other. I just wish they would ban the use of cell phones in cars and allow smoking sections in restaurants.

This is the problem. People just do not care either way, yet they let thousands and thousands of nonviolent pot smokers get locked away in prison every year. Thats 20,000 of your taxes a year per person going to a private citizen who owns the prison.

Wheres the tea party? The only want smaller government when it comes to social programs. Police state is great however.

It actually relieves the pain and does not have the short term side effects or long term damages to Your organs that pharmaceuticals have. This is a list of ailments and disorders it treats

"There are 100,000 total marijuana smokers in the US,
and most are Negroes, Hispanics, Filipinos and entertainers.
Their Satanic music, jazz and swing, result from marijuana usage.
This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations
with Negroes, entertainers and any others."

testimony to US Congress supporting Marihuana Tax Act, 1937

Not only was this ignorance used as a reason for prohibition, but it seems that Harry and his buddies held interests in several industries who were being held back because of hemp/cannabis. This has gone on for over 70 years now. The research and reports available to us now show the old research by NIDA and other Government organizations were not only unfounded but inconclusive.. one of the governments top researchers.. Dr.Donald Tashkin has come forward along with other researchers and admitted the reports were wrong. Dr. Tashkin is a staunch supporter of the legalization of Marijuana as are many others in the U.S. L.E.A.P.(law enforcement against prohibition) NORML.. Compassionate Care (ACC is aweome) MPP.. there are many that are nationally respected for their work and diligence to ending the prohibition of a plant.

I've done both and made it home every time. It's not what you use it is how much you use. I'm more concerned about the women driving with a cell phone stitched to their ears than I am about some guy having a beer or a joint on the way home from a hard day at work. Where are these stupid MADD women when it comes to denouncing the use of cell phones while driving. They want to send a guy to the electric chair if he is caught with a beer can in the car but are completly silent when it comes to trying to stop people from using a cell phone while driving. I guess that is because all of the MADD women are on the cell phones themselves and don't want the Government to curtail their beloved freedom to BS about nothing while they are driving back from their favorite shopping center. Of course, none of these women have a job so they can devote all of their free time trying to take freedoms aways from working people.

The government needs to do a better job at convincing the American voters if they want to continue on with this prohibition of marijuana. They claim that the plant is dangerous and deadly, yet they can't provide any proof or evidence to back these claims up. If you want to know the FACTS about marijuana then click on the link below.

Why legalize it so that people have to be ripped-off with taxes on it like the rest of us have to pay on cigarettes and alcohol? If the tax on alcohol and cigarettes would be reduced to the same tax placed on a chocolate bar then I would be in favor of taxing Marijuana at the same rate.

If legalized, workplaces will still have the right to declare themselvas "drug free workzones" and fire those have MJ in their system ,on company time, and on company premises. Not really worth the chance of getting caught.

A individual that was hopped up on weed killed my Father in a auto collision, so as far as I am concerned any one sent to jail for the use of drugs can stay there, or be put to death so tax payers don't have to feed them.
