How about restricting the use of Marijuana as perscription drug and supporting Beacon House on Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach, VA as a club-house not only for brain injury survivors... but also for recovering pot smokers!?

All recreational drugs make it too easy to dodge life instead of taking the time and trouble to work through the issues we face and growing wiser and more mature through the process. We need more real connection with others instead of escape.

Prohibition does not work. Marijuana is a harmless plant that is useful in so many ways. It is absolutely absurd that it is illegal. It is none of the governments business what someone puts in their body. The government has grown too big and its time for them to stop trying to control the population for their own benefits. Stop telling people what they can and cannot do. Legalize cannabis so the people that realize Big Pharma is poisoning us can have a safe alternative. If the federal govt really believed Marijuana had no medicinal value then there would not be Marinol. The hypocrisy and lies need to end. The 4th leading cause of death in USA is reactions to prescription drugs, yet marijuana has never, ever, killed anyone and remains illegal. I have vowed to not take prescription medication because I do not trust it. I do trust marijuana because I have used it and I know how wonderful this miracle plant that God made is. I have taken prescription medicine that I thought was going to kill me, and it probably would have had I not taken myself off of it. I have never felt my life was in danger with cannabis, other than the fact that it is illegal. The only thing wrong with marijuana, is that is currently illegal. Its way past time for a change.

it is a moral obligation to humanity to see this innocent plant liberated world wide. the fact that many people are denied this medicine so only the few can prosper off it being illegal is the true meaning of crime

I am chronically ill. This would be the best and safest medication for me, as I have had reactions to all other available drugs I could take.

People are going to smoke marijuana whether it is legal or not. Just like ppl found a way to get booze during prohibition. Why can't lawmakers see this. They make criminals out of marijuana users, but liquor is available everywhere. Wheres the common sense in that!

helps with stress...my husband is a parinoid psyco phrinic with psycopathic tendies and its keeps him from having to take a bunch of pills or being in a mental hospital...it keeps him sane and able to deal with everyday life with our kids and socity....its something thats natural that you can grow in your yard with no chemicals or side effects and I haven't ever heard of anyone dying from it.

The only people profiting now are the scum, you know, law enforcement, cartels, lawyers,sm ugglers, judges, court systems, the scum! I bet sc would go broke if it were leagized. The main industry in your little commi state is imprisionment of its own citizens of which it collects fed subsidy money. Stop being controlled by the superstitious child molesters that run your lives on sun morning and you might loose your third world status. Oh I forgot your supposed to suffer here or burn later right. Idiots. No wonder the rest of the world thinks your stupid!
