I was a medic in the military, and read that there is so many + than -. For patients; there is many different uses for marijuana. From eye problems, breast cancer, digestion problems. The list does go farther on. So that is the way I see on this subject.

Alcohol should be illegal. You never hear about kids under the influence of pot that cross the centerline and kill someone

Maybe they should make centerlines a little bit wider?

Its medicine and a natural plant. You can't tell people what they can and can't do if they are not doing harm to others.

I see it as a way to help the government and the recession. Make it legal, slap tax on buying and sell yearly permits to grow and manufacture the final product. You would see a drop in youth usage like in Amsterdam, kids there have little to no interest in smoking it. Make cigarettes illegal.

Currently much worse substances for the body are legal, including FDA approved drugs.

One drug approved by the FDA is artifical sweeteners, but soon to be banned is raw milk. The kind of milk that people drank for centuries. It doesn't make any sense to me. Pot has to be less harmful than artificial sweeteners.

I'm not going to say anything that hasn't been said before. First, it is proven to be a valuable drug for cancer patients, as well as others. Second, how often do you hear of someone involved in a car accident or fight when they were high? The government could make so much money off taxing marijuana, like with cigarettes and alcohol. If someone is going to do it, they will. The laws have been reduced to a slap on the wrist in my area, so why bother locking up marijuana dealers when we have a problem with overcrowding and there are pedophiles serving just as much time as the drug dealer. It will remain illegal until the government can control it, and only when they can make money for themselves will it become legal.

Using the Constitution of the United States of America, under what authority would the U.S. government have to tax home grown pot for personal consumption? None? Not only that, using the Constitution of the United States of America, under what authority would the feds have to regulate pot grown on a person's property for the purpose of personal consumption? None? Very well then! Enjoy your 16 trillion dollar federal debt, your house values in the toilet and the value of the dollar in a grave yard spiral, because there's a lot of sh@t that the federal government doesn't have the authority to regulate but ya'll just up and let them run around doing whatever they wanted until your stuff got worth less and your jobs went away, lol. But at least possession and cultivation of pot is a federal crime, lol.

We have pedophiles walking the streets while people are locked up for selling plants. How does this make any sense???

alcohol should be banned. It kills and destroys more family's than anything else. I've never seen any one who smokes pot get violent, beat their spouse or children, shoot up a room full of people, drive a car into people standing in their front yard...
