Its not going anywhere. The jails are filled with nonviolent marijuana users spending our money to house these people. Meanwhile splitting up families. Legalize it and tax it for those who chose not to grow their own. It would clearly cut our huge deficit. Towns as liberal as Duluth(DRUG COURT) need to see this. This is one of the few towns Im proud to live in that gives those nonviolent drug addicts a second chance with drug court.

Alcohol is wayyyy more toxic than pot. It has so many health benefits, also. I don't smoke it because it started to make me paranoid. It has too many positives to not make it legal. Legalize it!

It's time to end the reefer madness and legalize it, tax it, and take the criminal element out of it. This is the only law that a majority of law abiding citizens break regularly.

Why fight a War on Drugs and Terror, when we can change ourselves for the better by familiarizing ourselves with those we are afraid of?

god made marijuana for many medical purposes maybe not for people to just get high even though i use it daily to get high but also to relieve my anxiety and to keep me from losing it and alsoto keep me from drinking again i have a bad liver from a substance that is legal and somehow less dangerous for peoples health and the community. ALMOST EVERY TIME i get in trouble with the law or my personal relationships alcohol is always involved so i say legalize marijuana prohibit alcohol how many people do you now that have lost there lives to POT now can you say the same about alcohol.

Its been 30 years since I smoked pot (child of the 60's) I don't know of anybody getting stoned and doing something really stupid "like hurting someone". It should be legal.

i support the legalization of marujuana because it cures alot of ails, and think about this how many people get into their vehical, after smoking a blunt of nugget and get into a horrific car crash killing innocent people ? unlike the severe impairments of alcohol,, marujuana makes me more aware behind the wheel belive it or not!

It's just a stupid plant. There are far more important things to worry about than just focusing on if a plant with medical benefits should be legal or not. Legalize it.

Hell of a lot less damaging than alcohol, just think what could be done if we legalized & taxed it.
