I feel that Marijuana has a lot of medical benefits and can really help people.

In 1972 the U.S. Congress found that marijuana has no medicinal purpose. Rumor has speculated that it provides temporary relief for patients with glaucoma. Marijuana as an addictive has lead to the belief that it is used as an aid for many symptoms. They're just rumors repeated too often until someone believes it's true. There is no documentation through out history that proves it has worked in the past.

Marijuana is a natural grown plant. Read the history of marijuana and you will learn that presidents had marijuana crops.
Marijuana is a natural plant. If you want people to look up the history of presidents to find out who was growing marijuana all the back to George Washington be more specific. If you're not specific you sound like you high on pot. Since that is the case and there is proof that 1 or more presidents did grow marijuana in the back yard of the White House or wherever then we'll just believe they were high when they made the mistake of not being specific.

The time for legalization is now. With people not having health care it serves many purposes

MJ vs. Healthcare? Yeah, right. Are you willing to let the Mr. Goodbud dude down at the head shop do surgery for you when you find out that the pain you've been masking is really something serious? Don't listen to those ole doctors, just keep smoking away your illnesses and discomfort.

It's a possibility the people looking to legalize marijuana are suffering from side effects of their antidepressants !

Cough syrup can help people but did you know that it can be used to make Methamphetamine? That's what some reports are saying. Vicks & Nyquil are under pressure from the government that people need a prescription for cough syrup. That's a panic. Rumors about pot have been around a long time that's all

Does less harm than many legal drugs, does more good than many pharmeceutacals
Here' is an example: A guy checks into a rehab clinic, for 6 months of treatment. When he's finished he realizes drugs are a struggle but he stays away from them. When he starts looking at the money he saved because he gave up drugs, it's amazing he takes that money buys himself a six pack of beer and 6 months later he's an alcoholic. It dawns on him that the only thing he learned when he went to rehab is... how to spell Pharmaceutical!

You are the one that needs professional help! No person in their right mind can possibly believe stupid crap like that!

You're not making a point. You're just writing down your attitude problem. Past insults that you set yourself up for have you leaving defensive comments. That just provokes the idea of pointing out what an idiot you are. You didn't even comprehend that the comment you're responding too is an -example- that is a fact. One addiction is replaced by another regardless of what it is.

This comment doesn't have to apply to everyone. It can easily be used as an example for people that have a bad attitude about casual drug use.

I f@&)ing hate smokers and druggies!! Great. Let's make it legal for people to get high. What a wonderful thing we are exposing our children to.
