All I am going to say is as a single mother..working and going to college...taking care of my family on my own with no help from welfare, child support or any outside source..occasionally enjoys a fat blunt to help me chill and give me an appetite when the stress is so built up I feel like not eating...LEGALIZE IT...many people that smoke are good people who are kind..hardworking..as yes believe it CHRISTIANS! And good ones at that..My Jesus loves me as I am...pot and all...Merry Christmas to all..:)

stimulate economy, also medically proven that alcohol has thousands more yearly deaths than marijuana's 0-10 ratio

I don't have a problem with pot.Smoke away.I know a man with crippling arthritis, that pot would relieve his pain and suffering. He won't smoke it because its 'illegal and taboo',yet he takes a drug that is affecting his Kidneys in a bad way.Reminds me of another banned plant with little known healing powers. Its Devils Trumpet, gypsum weed or as its been called,Loco-weed.Grows in about every pasture in J County.Used until 1959 as an effective asthma treatment. Not anymore. We can thank these pill makers for keeping natural remedies hush-hush.Its a money racket and they will do everything they can to put cannibas in a bad light. They would hate for pot to decrease their profit margins.I don't see Pot as a gateway drug, look how many people have pulled a toke and have not touched another drug in their life.Meanwhile,my friend is taking medication that will likely kill him.He could be getting high when his pain is inbearable and enjoying life.At least make it legal for medical issues.

I feel if they sell it like tobacco products and tax it like they do it then yes legalize it.After all it is all about the money. How many marijuana overdoses or dui have u heard about daily.

Oh, yes it will, because people are curious, especially young people. If this "little" drug makes me feel s-o-o good, then what would the (you can fill in the blanks) make me feel like? That's why most people who try it try other "stuff" too. It's a drug, like it or not, a narcotic, and narcotics ARE addictive. If this is legal, kids will have easy access to it, and, I think there are enough problems with the youth as it is. I am a believer, but not very religious one, partially because - yes, there are a lot hypocrites shielding themselves with the Bible, I'll have to agree with you on that. They try everything, from all kinds of drugs to other worldly sins while they are young, and then "find the Lord" and become "saintly" and "proper" by the time they are 40-60, so they could go to heaven. By the way, you can "naturally" produce homemade wine. No machinery needed. Drinking alchohol (in moderation) is a socially acceptable, a lot of times very tasty, activity, and the Bible talks about drinking wine "for your stomch's sake" and for enjoying your friends' company. The end.
just like most hypocrites...use your religion when convenient to make your point

they should and thats not true bout it leadin to harder drugs the only ppl that do harder drug is freakin drug addicts cuz they all have already tryed it all so thats why they do harder drugs and if they legalize it then ppl wouldnt have to go to drug dealer that sell more then just weed cuz when they do they know they can get anythin but if it is legalized then they wouldnt know any drug dealer that sell juat more then that cuz they would be buying it from the store that will be only sellin weed.
You make a really good point, but your grammar is terrible.

I think Convenience is completely correct. Religion is one of those things that contain no logic, and you use them to argue when you run out of logic.

and others use "medical conditions" excuse to get high. same thing, isn't it? no, i am not against using narcotics to mitigate pain. and yes, water was turned into wine, and everything is good in moderation (even moderation). just don't drink and drive. is this logical to you?

Besides turning water into wine, yes that makes sense. Don't drink and drive, and enjoy marijuana and alcohol in moderation.
