Marijuana Debate - Corbin, KY
Do you support the legalization of Marijuana?
#288 Dec 20, 2013
I would love to see the head of the DEA try to justify what they do to those little children that are benefiting greatly from marijuana.
One little girl went from 300 seizures a day to one or two a day.
I have to wonder why the FDA dont do their job and reclassify it since there is widespread public knowledge about the medical uses.
We all know they are sitting on their hands about marijuana because of big money interests. How does one go about forcing their hand? If any of you know please stand up and be counted

"When a law becomes unjust, a man is not only right to break it, he is obligated to do so". Thomas Jefferson
This tells me that if enough people stood up to the this unjust law, they would have to change it quickly. They can't put everyone in jail.
It's a sad day when children are denied medicine that works just because of politics. To me, denying someone the use of herbal remedies is an outright crime against the people of this country.

It's amazing how our state turned its head and effectively impoverished its people with cannabis laws.
We were a hardworking industrious people and we can be again.

A majority of US adults believe that the consumption ought to be legal. Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol and cigarettes. I see in Eastern Ky drugs many drugs just maybe legalization could help.

Rev I dont think legalizing deadly drugs is the solution but I could be wrong. I do believe all drugs should be decriminilized as far as jail and prison time is concerned, Deadly drugs should not be readily available to anyone but if that were the case we would still have illegal drug dealers plying their trade.
If our government wants to keep its strangle hold on marijuana just so big pharmacy interests can keep on keeping on they should at the very least classify tobacco as a shedule 1 drug also but then all that big tobacco money would stop flowing. So what is the solution?
Marijuana is going to be completely legal in America eventually. I dont think kentucky is going to have that luxury as long as hal rogers and mitch mcconnell are in office but most voters realize both have outlived their usefullness anyway and its past time for them both to retire or be voted out , Either way works for me.

Anyone know of a local business in Whitley county that may be willing to host an event for medical marijuana awareness? We are really trying to reach your community! Any recommendations would be helpful! Also if you are for medical marijuana in KY please take a minute to call the KY legislature 1-800-372-7181
Tell the operator you support SB43. This is a bill we are trying to get passed in Frankfort with KYs politicians. You will not get in trouble for calling! This is your right as a citizen of KY. Every call is important to this cause! Thanks

Whitley County's elected officials in Frankfort are
Call this number every single day
Tell the operator you support Medical Marijuana for the truly sick diseased and disabled citizens of Whitley County!!!
Tell them to vote for SB43!
They will ask your name and address but this just to make sure the message gets to the right politician.
You WILL NOT get in trouble . This is your right!
Your personal information will not be shared.
Your job won't find out, your mom won't find out, your church won't find out, your neighbors won't find out!!!!
Bunch and Stivers are saying nobody in their county is calling them in favor of medical marijuana !!!
It's up to you citizens of Whitley County to set them straight. They work for you.
Please take 2 minutes max everyday to make this important call!!!!

Anyone know where to get some?

It's not the governments place to tell us what we can and cannot do with our bodies.

I read yesterday that every 32 minutes in America someone dies from an opioid overdose. No one has ever overdosed on marijuana alone but it is a schedule 1 narcotic which places it higher on the danger list than heroine, cocaine, and even meth.
Marijuana makes more money for the crooks if it is illegal. Our govt. has lied to protect the pharmaceutical companies who would be devastated by something natural that works so many medical miracles.
