It's been scientifically proven to be a healing plant with viable medicinal qualities and also proven to be less harmful than cigarettes and alcohol which contribute to thousands of deaths per year and have no medicinal value whatsoever. It needs to be taken off the list as a harmful drug and returned to being one of Americas biggest cash crops(hemp) as well as a medicinal herb people can grow in their own backyard!

weed in a legal society is worth 8.9 million dollars a year for a quantity of 100 pounds a day. thats 6400 customers a day buying 25 dollars a day. i think the city of chicago is worth 8.9 billion a year. coeur d' alene....probably a million dollars a year. and for what? to make your people happy. remember its in your high schools. some of your children smoke it every day. why do you smell it with me? cause i'm sick. why do you smell me drinking a sobe pina collada? ooohhh should smell the beer for a couple miles from first sip till after the shower in the morning.

Well coke is a plant. So you satin that's not a drug either. I'm for all types of drugs, but you can't tell me weed isn't a drug. A drug is anything that alters the mind.

It is extremely frusterating to listen to people who oppose weed-especially as they sit and drink their beer! I am tired of struggling to find a reputable seller-someone who is dependable and consistent. If it were legal, it would be regulated and available-not to mention all the tax money the state would make. There are several contries that have de-criminalized mj posession and use-lets look at them to see what reprocussions there are--NONE!

1. 60% of the 2340000 people incarcerated in the US is Marijuana related.
2. CDC report 0 deaths related to the use of Marijuana last year.(it's non toxic) more people die from legal drugs, cigarettes alcohol etc...
3. 60% of gang activity is related to Marijuana.
4. US judicial system spend over a Billion $ a year enforcing these laws.
5. Marijuana is a Natural God given plant that is listed as a Medicinal plan.
6. WR Hearst (Newspaper Mogul in the 30s) pushed to make it Illegal cause his rival newspaper was using hemp to print his newspaper on which made hemp illegal too!

Alcohol used to be illegal and.done illegal runs---it is legal. Cigarettes where banned from women and public use---legal and women smoke now. So why is marijuana going down the same road???

Really? I'm not fat, never drink, own two successful businesses in the area, so I can't be to stupid as a matter of fact unless I'm in Walmart most of the people I meet in Coeurdalene area fairly slim business minded folks. Now if you head over to Rathdrum you might have something there!

Just think how much more impact that sweeping generalization would have had, if only it weren't from a 40-something......hell, maybe even a 50-something year old individual, imparting wisdom here, direct from his mother's basement. Pseudo-intellectualism and condescension are far less impressive to readers than you apparently think.
